Amy, I really like the softness in color with this technique. Something I want to try is sprinkling it with coarse grain salt while it is still wet, then let it sit to dry. With watercolors, that is a lovely technique. I don't see why it wouldn't work. It may be a much more subtle look than on watercolor paper. Something fun to experiment with. Love this idea, I use the double pack of clear flexible cutting boards to do mine, it’s easier to see what’s going on when I put the color down.

Put orange on one file folder, the yellow on the other, spray one, smash them together, instead of 2 colours on one folder, then put your paper in between.
