i don't understand how musicians do it. how do they come up with something so artistic out of nothing? how do they get the notes just perfect with how they feel in their mind? how do they play instruments so freakin good?!?!?!?
jericho turbo jones Junkie XL actually has a bunch of tutorials about his process and he was one of the guys that made the soundtrack for BVS. While that won't exactly tell you everything about every musician, you can learn about him if you want to from those.
To be a musician you don't have to know to play an instrument very well, it is important yes, but not all. What makes a great musician is to culturize your music taste. You must hear everything, everything that is considered real music. We are talking about opera, classic, rock, blues, jazz, salsa, cumbia, reggae, bossa nova, pop, electronic, r&b, rap, hip hop, metal and everything that has harmony and structure. Then you'll be able to "create" masterpieces like this. You need to train your brain and taste before you train your skills on an instrument. Is the best advice I can give you. And not only applies to music, it applies to every art.
Fernando Callo No I think playing an instrument is very important to be a good composer. One cannot know whether his music can be even performed if he doesn't know capabilities of both the instrument and human playing on it.
"People hate what they don't understand." - Martha Kent . I saw in one video where this guy gives valid reasons why people are wrong about hating BvS. One of those reasons was how Batman was simply killing the bad guys while Superman is seen as a sad, brooding guy unlike in the comics. The guy had a really great response to that. As you might've noticed Batman has been operating for over 20 yrs in Gotham while Superman has only been introduced to the world for about 3 or so years and with the destruction that followed after the battle of metropolis the world is divided on Superman. . For Batman the 20+ yrs fighting as a vigilante is now taking a toll where while he still doesn't directly kill criminals, he also doesn't care if they die indirectly (like getting caught in an explosion or something at which Batman is firing). Batman's experience has taught him that there will ways be criminals, no matter how small or big and they need to be uprooted. . When Batman hears that Superman's mother has the same name as his own he realises how dark he's turned. He feels the guilt and sees in Superman a human who's trying to live a normal life here on earth but is failing. . At the end the guy says: He's (Batman) not Batman ANYMORE and he's (Superman) not Superman YET... . And that PERFECTLY surmises Zack's version of BvS. Yes, there were a few drawbacks in the movie and that was solely due to the fact that WB wanted to compete against MCU and so they kinda forced Snyder's hands into introducing 'enough' scenes/materials into the movie so that a follow-up JL could be produced without much effort. Scenes like introduction to other JL members through an email attachment, a rather quick death to Superman for the sake of sending the world into misery for the parademons to sense it and come flying...it was all a bit forced into the movie for the sake of a follow-up movie BUT when talking about BvS itself, its main storyline... people who say they hated it simply didn't understand it or they should just go and read fairytale books...
This is why I love this movie! Sure the plot may seem like gibberish to most people, but you can't deny the amount of emotion and work put into the music!!!

My body shuddered under the burden of adrenaline and my mind was a shadow of its whole self, and yet through the very cloud of my beautiful pain I heard her name Martha. An impossible glimpse of bright light pierced the storm of my heart and was nothing more than a child again.
