great to see, just a person keeping history alive, amazing to see how many shells were fired in a day, i live near ypres and still they find ammunition to this day on the fields, had a friend with a cafe at the "rijselpoort" who had a sort of museum like this. I recommend ypres to everyone to visit, not only for the war monuments but it is also a beautiful village to walk around and enjoy.

My great grandfather fought and was injured during his time with the Canadian 22 Battalion. He was injured by artillery shrapnel on Sept 29 1916. I'm looking to create a display in his honor and I was wondering if anyone has any contacts that might be able to help me. Thank you in advance.

I am American but my great grandpa fought for the Germans in ww1 as a doctor. He has to cut peoples legs off and do horrendous things
