Unfortunately, there's something called racism that gets in the way for some people. Racism is when people are treated unfairly just because of their skin color or where their family is from. It's not fair, and it makes people feel really bad. Even though we should all be treated equally, in some places, this problem of not treating everyone fairly is a lot bigger. In this video we are going to show you the top ten countries where this issue is seen more than in other places. This list comes from a big study done by some groups - US News, WPP, and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. They surveyed about 87 different countries, looking at all sorts of things to figure out where racism is more of a problem. Among these countries on number ten we have.

I (a German citizen) lived in Saudi Arabia for a year and a half and experienced for myself how foreigners, even from neighbouring and friendly Arab states, are treated from above. As a foreigner, you are practically without rights there. I was warned time and again not to get involved in a dispute with a Saudi, because he would automatically get justice and I might end up in prison. I've also heard hair-raising things from others on this subject.
But I would also categorise Germany as pretty racist.

In Malaysia, racial discrimination is not only legal, but constitutional. racial discrimination by the majority is a right and privilege. not just the government, laws and policies openly push for racial discrimination, but also racism permeates the social fabric. the majority race is allowed to criticize, mock and even promote racial discrimination against other races on social media but if others criticize their race or religion, islam, they will be jailed. even simple open discourse on the topic of racial equality is a criminal offence.

I thought racism meant the way people of a different RACE are treated within a country. Not all people were of a different race. They were of a different religion or ethnic group within the larger group. I didn't always notice different racial groups in this video. This video dealt more with social standing, ethnicity, background, skin color and religion. You can fall within the same race or ethnicity and still have those factors. How many races are there? Has the definition of "race" changed?

I would say overall western countries are FAR more tolerant than many other regions.

Many countries are on the list, but the top 10 are these reported. Many think that the US and other countries should be at the top. But based on per capita hatred, they would not be at the top.
Almost all Middle Eastern countries have a concept of separating locals vs. expatriates independent of how many decades the expats live there (Saudi, Oman, UAE etc).
Sri Lanka Govt. should be happy to be at the bottom of the top 10.

You forgot a country: Dominican Republic. If you born in this country but your gran gran parent came from Haïti, you will never be accepted, can live but need a monthly visa of 25$US plus a 3 years long term visa who will cost them 250 to 500$US. Until 2000, the constitution of the coundry was reconizing the principe of Jus Soli, the right from the land where you born, but no more, except if you have the proof who show that your ancester was born before 1898. Some of your commentators I think, are incredibly Naiive. To claim the US and the UK are racist countries for example, ignores the fact that US and UK law protect minorities. I am not from the US or the UK. I am a white man married to a Sri Lankan Tamil. I don't think Sri Lanka should be on your list even considering their terrible civil war.
