Her face at the end is so heartbreaking...you can just see she's struggling to put on a "I'm Fine!" face & can't quite do it. I'm loving your journey through Taylor's work! You're doing great & it's fun to see someone totally change their mind about her😁

Love your reactions!!! If you’re a metal head, you should react to her performance of We Are Never Getting Back Together from her 1989 world tour in 2015. She totally rock-a-fries the song and plays the electric guitar! Lots of other rock fans are surprised when they see it…It’s an incredible performance!
apparently, she came into the studio after The Break Up and wrote all 10 mins, but had to cut it down. i love that she gave us the whole thing for the album that she owns.
The short film really does an excellent job of bringing this song to life. It’s exactly what I pictured before even seeing the short film, but even better. It’s Taylor Swift at her absolute best.
you know, actually, the original red album only ever had the abbreviated version of this song of the album. she had to cut it down cuz her record label didnt think a 10 min song would sell. only when she released her rerecorded version of the album red did she release the full 10 minute version as she had originally written it.
Dude I love all of your reactions. I know I keep commenting on all of them lol. I remember watching this live in 2014 and feeling deeply touched... there's so much emotion on her face and in her voice. The only thing the media could talk about was her hair whipping back and fourth, so many memes about it. It's astounding that is what the public got out of this performance. That was the first time I was thinking like "oh... the public hates young women." No one talked about the depth of the song, the vulnerable performance. They just liked to make fun of her hair. It's been rough being a Taylor swift fan until recent years.

Also, Jake was 9 years older (I accidentally put 12 years so I'm fixing it cuz Bruce nicely corrected me!) then her & he diminished her work, didn't like her wearing heels because she'd be taller them him, told her she wasn't funny, hid their relationship, just basically gaslit her then blamed the breakup on the age difference. However, after he listened to the Red album he contacted her & said it was an amazing & accurate account of the relationship.
Would've Could've Should've is about John Mayer who was 13 years older then her & fucked up every woman he was ever with.

She made an award-winning "short film" for the 10-minute version. It tells the story much better, if you want to know more what happened.
Just an FYI.. This is the original version of "All Too Well" from Taylor Swift's fourth studio album, titled “Red”, released on October 22, 2012. The 10 minute version was on her re-recorded version of Red (Taylor's Version), released on November 12, 2021. 😉 👍

The scarf is meant to be a metaphor for her "girl hood" that's why she says because it reminds you of innocence and it smells like me. That's why you see it so much in the short film and talked about few times in the song.

"You all over me" though would be the one I would listen before listening to the actual Clean...the word is mentioned there in a different vibe and both songs just really match each other

I think she was really hurt over Jake because she really loved him - it seems maybe more than what he returned. She was very young making these relationships hard to get over because your heart hasn’t learned how to handle the hurt yet. Even when you’re older it sucks, but you know you’ll survive. You learn to think- this is horrible, but if you don’t want to be with me, then I don’t want to be with you either. it’s better I know sooner than later.

There’s was speculation, that Taylor confirmed in an interview last year, that the scarf is a metaphor. Based on what she said, it seems like it’s a metaphor for her v*rginity, which makes this song even more profound and poetic.
