We are enjoying it while we can! You never know when things will change so creating memories with the dogs and other members is what matters to us most.
Good hunt way to turn the deer back man we need more unselfish hunters out there I hunt in Sussex Va and man that first day got windy fast looking forward to more videos good luck to y’all
Trying to get everyone a chance is something our club works hard to do every year. We have younger kids and older guys alike that we love to try and put in front of a chase to get them involved in the action.
@@claytonorr9981 I’m not in a club I have a little private land not far from yalls club house I’ve seen yalls post for members on Craigslist a few times my piece is in the middle of spring creek hc and Owen hc if my memory is right yall had a guy get shot a few years back that sucks but accidents happen
That young buck threw them hounds for a little loop there & never showed if they figured the track out & shouldn't had any problem with a hound with just a avg. Nose on him or her with that track being as hot as it was but YES , Wind , Dryness of the ground , Warm Temp. up into mid. day , plus over all Humidity in the air itself on top the warmer temps. around mid. day drives . Plus when you have the wright amount of rain or moisture in the ground mixed with warmer to hot temps. can & will make the ground go Sour in places . If you've been driving down an old back road with the winders down & ride up on that nasty sour like smell in the ditches per day & just think if we can smell it , how strong the scent is to a Deerhound or any hunt'in breed of a hound & would TOTALY mess his or her tracking ability by use'in it's nose & some more than others because certain hounds are known & bred to have better Noses such as the Coonhound Bloodlines & exspecialy the Blood Hound Breeds & Crosses !
The young buck was just getting out of the way in this one. My attempt at man driving him back into the hunt ended up being successfully unsuccessful. He squirmed right back out the other side of the property between two standers. Hoping to make plenty more videos this fall/winter. Thanks for checking out the channel!
Nice!! I wish you would run down here to nc and pick up these fine lemon walkers ruining out still hunting all season. Haven’t even seen a single doe in daylight cause these rascals running them back and forth all night and day and the owner of them could care less after being warned twice.
I am about to do a little bowhunting myself tomorrow! I love hunting with dogs but I'll never pass on an opportunity to get in the woods with the ole stick and string. Sorry you are dealing with a fellow hunter like that - cooler heads will prevail in a situation like that. You should give your local fish and game officer a call and see what options you have. Use them as a resource!
Awesome video! I love running hounds and seeing others keeping the tradition alive no matter what your running with them!
Couldn't agree more!
Nice video sir, love seeing Virginia on the board. Trying to get it together to make videos myself. Thanks for sharing.
Go for it! Videos bring memories to life!

Superb job on the video.
Got a laugh about the “corn hole” reference that was made in the video. Maybe you can explain how that reference came to be.

Wow, I had no idea it is legal to hunt deer with dogs...crazy!
It's tradition
Don't really understand how it's crazy.
@@JosephBrooks-x8m I deer hunt in Wisconsin and I've never heard of hunting deer with dogs. It would be highly illegal in Wisconsin.
@jolkraeremeark6949 it's highly legal here has been for years.
@@JosephBrooks-x8m don't shoot your dog!
Slang and bang!!!
