We fight against Wakamo and a hovercraft she snagged from the helmet gang in this "new" raid. It was recycled from past event, and I saw many people not happy about it, but the gameplay felt new enough, for me, at least.
Phase 1, we fight Wakamo. The mechanic is whenever her ATG meter maxes out, she will use EX skill, and it will put 2 markers on the target. I think the order of EX skills is pre-determined, and resets every time Wakamo is stunned, but I have not tested it, so I can't say for sure.
Whenever someone has 5 markers, she will get ko'd, so one character can't tank her forever. To counter this, you can CC Wakamo, and when the CC meter maxes out, she gets stunned, and all markers are removed.
You can stun her 3 times, and every time she recovers from stun (not when you stun her), she deals and takes more damage, while increasing the time required to fill CC meter. Since you can only stun her 3 times, you have limited time.
In insane and torment difficulties, her attacks bounce and hit 2 targets, so you will likely need 2 tanks. On that note, Tsukuyo is really good against her. One of her EX skills will stun the target 5 times in quick succession, which means Tsukuyo can actually heal from this. The damage seems to apply first, tho, so it will ko her if she low enough to be one-shot.
Strat I used involves Kayoko to hit panic shot 3 times, but it wasn't bad at all. It didn't take me long to get the procs.
Phase 2 is hovercraft phase. The missile phase is back, but many QoL improvements. First of all, the turrets. If you can heal them up, you don't even need to worry about the missiles at all. They don't hit you, and the turrets can take care of them super easy.
Second is the missile guidance unit. When you break it, it immediately ends the missile phase, but more importantly, 100% of the damage you deal to it goes directly to the hovercraft, meaning you don't miss DPS uptime.
Main mechanic in this phase is number of hits. Every 15 hits on hovercraft or missile guidance unit will increase their damage taken, tracked separately. IIRC, it counts Miyu and Meru's EX skills' bonus damage, which is why they are really good because they can basically double the number of hits for a period of time. And speaking of Miyu, I haven't seen her up close like that before, and I just want to let her take some rest. She looks worse than I thought previously.
My party 1 couldn't finish phase 1, so my party 2 starts in phase 1. It was 1 EX away from finished, which is why I was able to bring what I brought. One Wakamo EX would have ruined the party.
Another thing to note is that I brought Koharu in party 2, a character with wrong armor type. She can't survive the attacks much. However, there are no threats during the missile phase, so all you need to worry about are the 2 attacks Wakamo does between them.
First attack hits 2 targets. It may depend on party composition, but with what I brought, it didn't hit Koharu at all when I put her in the first position (in the sortie screen).
Second attack hits 4 targets twice each, but it wasn't enough to one-shot Koharu. The time between 2 shots were very quick, tho, so that's something to look out for. Need to use the EX skill right before the first explosion hits Koharu.
During missile phase, nothing seems to be hitting you, so it's a good time to catch up on healing, if needed.
Nothing special to mention for party 3 except for one thing. Around 7:42 mark, Utaha's turret gets hit before Wakamo appears on screen, and I only noticed it while editing the video. It sounds like a fun experiment. Is it because the missile phase ended, or can Wakamo hit something close to shore all the time? But I don't think it really matters at the moment.
Overall, it was relaxing. Difficulty wasn't bad, and the music was soothing. Description got really long, partly due to it being a new raid with new mechanics. There are definitely places to improve, so I'm gonna try to get higher score. Thankfully, a lot of people have perfect Mika, so I'm not restricted on that. - Игры
The Miyu thumb is the charm 😭
I knew phase 1 in torment gonna be awful
thank you by the way for make this video for global server :v
May I know the reason why u used Izumi?
So I don't have Meru, any other option?
Izumi is there for the number of hits. IIRC, her sub skill (extra damage based on her remaining HP) counts separately from her auto attacks, and her unique gear increases the number of hits of her basic skill. I'm not 100% sure on those, but her base number of hits is still pretty high.
Most straight forward replacement of Meru would be Miyu, who I also use in my strat, so that's not gonna work unless you can get close enough, or even outright clear with 2 teams. Pina has a pretty fast attack speed, but her alone is probably not enough.
There are strats where you rent Meru and use Mika only once, and that might actually be better. Basically, team 2 and 3 are swapped minus Mika. Don't remember exactly why I didn't do that, but I probably couldn't get it done without a second Mika at the time. And the reason I swapped team 2 and 3 is because Mika deals more damage the more remaining HP the enemy has.
@@shiawasagi ahhh... I c...
Thank you so much for ur explanation...
I have a bad habit of not reading Bosses's skills info. So apparently, the more hits the hover gets, the more debuff it gets. That's why we need high hits count students.
I'm sorry had to make explain all this.
Thank you for the video and ur explanation.
I'll do my best to beat Torment.
Will come back again
Does re entering with different teams use multiple tickets?
No. When you use the ticket, you have 1 hour, and within that hour, you can use as many teams as you need. You just can't use the same characters twice except the one you are renting
