    Chin state has a large population of ethnic Mizos. So if you're a Mizo travelling from India to this part of Myanmar, you'll feel like you're still in Mizoram.

      @@hassymiia6267 When did India forcefully took Mizoram, You better read proper history, India never took Mizoram, Indeed Mizoram was a state carved out from Assam state ... Remember Mizos came from Burma and settle in India

    Once I travelled from Kalay Myo to Hakha through Falam. Was witnessing breathtaking views and horrendous landslides. It’s a lifetime experience though. Myanmar is a beautiful country

    with love from your Indian neighbour Mizoram. If you are traveling to Chin Hills, you still feel as if you're still in Mizoram even though you're on foreign soil. many Mizo brothers and sisters reside over there in Chin hills.

    Interesting to see what's the mainstay of the economy, as well as the govt attitude towards development. The surrounding barren(no offense) forest lands suggests that the forests must've been exploited beyond its replenishment rate, but that's only an assessment from the video
    Beautiful place though

    • @salai99
      @salai99  2 года назад

      Thanks for taking time to comment. As you observed, the land has been suffered from many generations of traditional "slash and burn" agriculture practices as well as changing climate (intense rain). Hope we will have chance to restore the nature to some extent in the future.

      The place seems harsh yet we enjoy peaceful environment, far away from troubles around the world. You would be suprised most of basic needs are there (24/7 power, water supply, healthcare, college) most importantly 3G network 😆. Hope you visit one day.
