The speakers are expensive rubbish, KEF drive units that suffer from distortion, with horrible class D amplification, with no good internal damping materials. Bad loudspeakers full stop. Kef are just rubbish lifestyle speakers, it's a poor loudspeaker, like all their other modern active speaker designs. They do not make authentic natural sound quality at all.
