    Yes, he is right about that but I recommend double stops so early in violin training that they do have to be done with out vibrato at first. Especially fifths. They are hard to vibrate without loosing the intonation!

    Hi Ms Hoffman, huge fan of your videos. Thank you for sharing! Have you seen Mr Rodney Friend’s videos regarding 5ths? It’s an interesting take on actually using them as a foundation for hand posture.

    Is vibrato a requirement before one starts 5th. When one starts fresh should on practice this without vibrato? According to Rodney friend " all intervals practiced should be played using vibrato.. it's is not important and can be even damaging to practice with a sound that cannot be used."
    This frightens me, one does not want to cause damage. Don't understand what he meant. Thanks for the video
