Squarebody Chevy/GMC Alternator Charging Issue • Part 1 | AN UNEXPECTED FIND [Wrench At Home]

In this video I'm trying to fix an issue with the charging system of my #squarebody #truck. My volt gauge was reading way too low the other day, and when I tried to start the truck the battery was dead. My plan is to recharge the battery and replace the alternator.

buy a kit to replace the internal parts cheaper then buying a new one

Thanks for the tip! Because I live in the Netherlands it’s a lot more difficult for me to get the right parts, that’s why it was easier to just order a complete new/rebuilt unit from Amazon. Thank you for watching!
