- Damian Lillard. 2020 Player of the Seeding Games AKA Bubble Most Valuable Player. All-Seeding Game First Team. 5x NBA All-Star. 2018 All-NBA First Team. 2x All-NBA Second Team. 2014 All-NBA Third Team. 2013 NBA Rookie of the Year. Culture setter. Before the NBA Restart, Lillard was scoring 30.0 points per game, good for third in the league. He had a stretch of 6 games where he averaged 48.8 points per game (read that again). In the Bubble, he upped that to 37.6 points per game. He also joined Will Chamberlain as the ONLY two players in NBA history to have scored 60 points in a game three different times in a single season. That’s some GOAT Spirit stuff right there. Confirmed.
Dame is “Different On Levels the Lord Allows.” Before the NBA restart, he spoke publicly about not wanting to be a part of it unless his team had a legitimate chance to qualify for the playoffs. When the play-in format was presented, the experts predicted the exciting young New Orleans Pelicans to overtake them. The Blazers had the advantage of starting in the 9th seed, but few picked Portland. Then Dame did what Dame does - he put on for his Home Team. 37.6 points per game through 8 games. His lowest moment in the Bubble had to have been the missed free throws in a loss to the LA Clippers, but he held himself accountable for his shortcomings - which is part of what makes him such a great leader.
He followed that up with 51 points 7 assists against the Philadelphia 76ers, 61 points 8 assists against the Dallas Mavericks, and 42 points and 12 assists against the Brooklyn Nets.
All that forced a play-in game against Memphis, where the Blazers would have had to lose twice to fall out of the playoffs, or win once and advance. To no one’s surprise, Lillard turned in a 31 point 10 assist performance. He’s the General keeping his Soldiers in the Game. Hell, Dame even went 6-13 from deep on his way to 34 points and 5 assists to take a game off of the top seed. That’s The Letter O giving the Lakers an L with his offensive Onslaught.
That's the story. Dame Dolla. Logo Lillard. Whatever you want to call him. He elevated his Blazers above and beyond what people thought possible. This video largely leans on how he stretches defenses out with his jumper. The range Lillard has is limitless. He can pull from anywhere as soon as he crosses that line and there's not a damn thing anyone can do about it.

Relentless range is 100% right lol. Can we get a Gary Trent jr catch and shoot/scrappy defense video? He stepped his game up in the bubble.
Even before he shoots his teammates are already on the defense knowing it’s going in
Best 3 point shooter after Steph. And don't even try the Klay stuff, everyone knows he can't shoot off the bounce like Dame. He's awesome tho

Great video! Can‘t help but feel he‘s becoming or has become a better shooter than Curry...
