I don't mind regulating AI, but if you do I think it would be prudent to ban AI that could be smarter than a human. Although that's a way bigger issue than the State of Maryland or even the Federal Government could do, we need to do it as a species.

There are already laws for falsely impersonating a person for any reason including personal defamation. Also civil statutes to sue for damages by the victim. Its already there. The clowns down in adderal county dont do their jobs is the problem. The means to the impersonation being ai means nothing. The biggest problem with ai will be our elected officials using it as an excuse for everything they refuse to do. Ridiculous. Guy commited a crime. Lock him up. Nothing to do with ai. We're not fooled.
