Snagged myself a UM780 XTX on the day they came out. Paired mine with a G6 Odyssey 240hz. You should put power output to 70w (performance mode) in bios to get most out of igpu 👍
Hoping one of you Mini reviewers will see this and maybe help a fella out 😃 - The Minisforum um690 (and hopefully the 690S) allows setting the memory speed up to 6000MT, as opposed to allowing only 4800MT DDR5 - ETA Prime did a very VERY brief look at how memory speeds improved game performance, but tied that look into the 690 thermal issues. Enter the 690S which has an overhauled cooling solution for the M.2 and Memory (and you could still slap some of those graphene heat spreaders on the memory for even more dissipation). How does the 6900HX with the 680M and decent system and iGPU memory allocation compare to the 780XTX? How much of an improvement do we get from faster memory? Is it stable with 5600 or 6000MT mem? Is it worth it? Enquiring minds want to know!
Not gonna lie this monitor seems nice sadly I have a laptop that I will hook with a external thrue the nvme port and I probably wont have space nor money to get this maybe in the future I might setup a minipc with EGPU clean setup.
