Does the metal plate at the back of the phone and the magnetic phone holder interfere with the electronic functioning of the iPhone Btw mine car too is a Honda City same as yours
@ I has recently purchased the Blackstar Spiro Mag magnetic car mobile holder with 540 degree rotation angle. My iPhone already has a kickmag type hard case so I will stick the circular plate ( 4 cm diameter ) between the MagSafe ring and use the car mobile holder. I am planning to install the car mobile holder on the driver side side near the ORVM controls. I wanted a car vent holder but unfortunately there are not a single good quality holder available in the market. So the Spiro Mag seemed pretty useful for me as I wanted a clutter free dashboard and a compact near to the vent type magnetic mobile holder.
Sir, saw your video today.. How is the product working, how it's working on bumpy roads, roads full of potholes and on speed breakers.... Like I read some reviews on amazon that the phone falls of even on a little jump. Please clarify that sir.
It's still working well without any problems. And phone doesn't fall of on any little jumps. You can check its latest look here: ruclips.net/video/5x_dvfU3tu0/видео.htmlsi=D1fv54U07zlVNX2I
Hi bro I watched your video I am going to book this for my Kushaq Please recommend if any suggestions And meanwhile thanks for dash cam review I bought one 70mi a200 It’s nice
can it hold any phone without installing the metal plate on the back of phone ? i am looking something which does not require additional installation at the back of phone
Magnet needs metal to stick. So yes, you need a metal plate at the back. But you don't need to 'stick' it to the phone. You can simply slide it between your phone and your phone cover/case. Align it to the centre and leave it. The holder will attach firmly and you can remove the metal anytime later whenever not required.
Hi TravelTech..Are you still using this magnetic mobile holder or have switched to some other alternative? Just wondering if its still working good as like after an year !?
We cannot. But lifting the phone off the holder and pressing the hazard light will take about 3-4 seconds max. Without the phone, it would take about 1 second. So the time difference isn't very vast to cause a major problem. And also its matter of personal preference. If you want direct access to hazard light all the time, you can always keep the mobile in landscape mode.
@@traveltechyoutube sure though i do think if there is a vehicle immediately behind, those additional 3 seconds would help avoid an incidence. Perhaps its best to find an alternate place depending on car model. Btw, is the magnet powerful enough? Is there a possiblity of the phone slipping away on speed breakers and bad roads?
Where to place the magnet is subjective. Each individual has his own preference. You can place it where you feel its right. Somebody else, where he feels its right. And additionally, as I said, placing the mobile in landscape mode is also an alternative solution. And yes, the magnet works very well. Thr grip is strong. Your mobile will not fall even on bumpy roads.
What do you suggest after using this for a long time? The traditional suction cup holder for windshield or this one? Any additional advice for this with comes from the experience you've had after using this for a long time?
Nano mag is the best holder compared to the suction cup. Since I've been using it for more than a year, I've never faced any issues of mobile falling down even in the harshest of roads. Also it only takes one hand to put and remove the mobile from the holder. In a suction mount, it takes both hands for that action. Go for this.
Only has 4 small magnets which I guarantee are NOT N52 magnets (the higher grade magnets). Get a magnetic mount that has six N52 magnets. That will hold your phone very well, especially if you mount the metal plate inside your phone case. This is from personal experience.
Hi Bob, This holder has N52 neodymium magnets(I can confirm that), and not the lower grade magnets. And yes, they are 4 in number because this is a 'nano' holder, which means its designed to be small on size by purpose, hence can fit in only 4. Regular size holder will have 6 magnets. This holder takes less space and holds well too.
blackstar has two magnetic holders, one is selling for around 599 and this one is for 399, which one do you prefer ? does the extra ₹200 justifies it ? or does 399 one wporks as good as expensive one. please reply
@@traveltechyoutube i justtt looked in my car after watching this video, Tigor XZ and found that i do not have any relevant space for this holder. i might go with their magnetic but dashboard one.
The dashboard one is not effective. It will fall off. The 399 one needs a very small space to stick. I'm not sure of the Tigor interior, but u should be able to find a decent space for it.
Yes it will. Stick the 3M sticker metal plate directly on your smartphone and do not just keep it below the phone cover. Your phone will never fall even in the harshest off roads.
It is an excellent way to explain such a nice product, i really appreciate it you
Thanks 👍🏻

Is it suitable for big size phone like s22 ultra
Yes. If you stick the metal plate directly on the phone and attach to the magnet, then it will hold easily.
And how do you intend to use the hazard light in case of sudden braking?

Is it Suitsble for ignis
Yes it is. Just find a flat spot on the dashboard of ignis which is easy to view and stick the magnet there!
But mostly textured surface in Ignis. surface. Will it stick..,
Is it affecting the gps accuracy while using Google maps?
No it doesnt.
Please make a video of comparison of this one (nano) and strip style big blackstar. How much be a difference between both
I have tried both of them and found that Nano is better than strip style. Strip is not broad and hence comparatively has lesser grip than Nano.
Selling for 399 now. Went for the Tantra tango one instead.

No it won't. You can use it without worries.

The 399 one does the job well, for regular sized phones. If your phone is very large or heavy, you can buy the 599 one.
