- Before ANYBODY SAYS ANYTHING, one must have character I forgot was Etrigan the Demon. Literally realizing it right now as I'm writing the description. He's VERY high on my list of wants and somehow completely slipped my mind!
Either way, having some fun today and theorycrafting a potential character roster for Injustice 3! Who do you want in the game, let me know below!
Also, I left out guest characters. A Watchmen thing is totally on the cards as well, but I did want to keep it totally DC

Zoe did come back in injustice, they took his heart and put it in Connor Kent. They then left him in the phantom zone because it was a weak transplant or something like that.

Dick Grayson was in Injustice 1, Damian and Jason were in 2, when's mah boy Tim Drake getting his time to shine?
I hate to break it to you, but in the comics run tim drake was killed by zod right after he and the teen titans were freed from the phantom zone

Plastic Man is for sure making it after his annual Injustice comic and appearance in the animated film adaptation. I wouldn’t be surprised by Constantine, Beast Boy, or Mr. Terrific, but I would absolutely love Etrigan.
Etrigan would be a crazy character to add but I think fills a very similar role to atrositous

I think a blackest night story would be cool , gives a reason for my boy larfleeze to come in along with other lanterns, it also gives a reason to add the noob movelist of throwing the boys at someone

It's definitely gonna be the Blackest Night story with the Black Lanterns, not this Corps war that he's taking about. The Black Lanterns is how you bring back dead characters: Joker, Beast Boy, Shazam etc. They're gonna be the Injustice version of MK's revenants.
A lot of characters are dead in this game/comic so you have to deal with things like that. So you have to deal with plot points like that.
Wasn’t the first game all about heroes from another universe coming to help out? There’s no reason to assume any dead characters couldn’t also come back due to multiverse shenanigans

I want to see the Crime Syndicate not as characters with their own movesets but just as premier skins.
Considering he played a pretty major role in the injustice movie and he's going to be in the new live action Superman movie, there is no way we don't see Mr. Terrific. Plus he was in the watchtower in the first game and most characters in the background of stages end up making it onto future rosters (Atom, Martian Manhunter, Grodd etc )

Honestly I think talking about the potential plots they could do would be much more interesting than talking about potential characters.
Darkest night could be interesting, bringing back a lot of the people Superman killed while also involving the other lantern corps.
Your generic darkseid invasion could be nice but it's very similar to The brainiac plot.
A version of flashpoint where flash tries to save Louis from joker only to make things worse somehow could be very interesting.
Maybe do something with the dark multiverse, you can have an alternate version of the Batman who laughs where he's the one who snapped and became a crazy fascist dictator.
You could base it heavily on zero hour where instead of Superboy prime going crazy and messing up the multiverse it is fascist dictator Superman.
Maybe include elements of All-Star Superman, where after they pull them out of The phantom zone they find out that exposure to it gives him just enough time to stop insert crisis here to live.
Could evening include elements from Tower of Babel, turn Batman's new Justice League against him.

My wish list for guests characters i hope they add . Green ranger, Darth Vader, Ben 10, invincible, and Goku
Power Rangers are a given, especially after that crossover they had with the Justice League in the comics. Question is how would they do them, add all 6 or 4 of the 6 ( Green/White, Red, Black, Blue, Pink, Yellow ) and you chose one based on their weapon just like the TMNT in Injustice 2 or just put White/Green Ranger alone.

I was low-key wanting him for a guest character in MK. He'd fit right in there.
If the next game is going to keep the comic tie-ins as part of the overall canon, then unfortunately Thaal Sinestro would not be a returning figure since he died during the Red Lantern invasion of Oa by the hand of a Starro controlled Soranik (whom Thaal just freed from the Starro spore right before he bled out).
Though since Soranik became a Yellow Lantern in the mainline comic timeline, perhaps the same could end up happening in the Injustice universe, but as a way for Sora to “honour” her father’s self-sacrifice by taking over the Sinestro Corps & “redeeming” it to a force for good.

As for story: I would imagine a plot involving Raven returning and trying to bring forth her father Trigon with the help of the Church of Blood, while she also torments the heroes with visions of their greatest past villains (like The Joker or The Elite) or further down the line, with potential evil counterparts. Batman would be a perfect fit for this latter option, with either him or others having to fight his nightmares in the form of the Dark Knights.

I would love it to be based on Blackest Night. Imagine the possibilities, the many dead Injustice characters that they can bring back, the possible lanterns. Maybe we can give it a horror theme if so. As for the new characters to name a few; Constantine, Booster Gold, Rorschach/Question, Etrigan, Beast Boy, Grayson's version of Dead Man, Grail, Clayface, and King Shark. I would like Raven, Lobo, Black Canary, Swamp Thing and Grundy back. Lets have some underrated characters in there like Talia Al Ghul, Bleez, or Killer Moth. Maybe Nekron as the playable boss character. WB loves to add in characters that are/will be popular by the films, so that's something to keep in mind.
I think the best story line they could adapt is the Darkest Night story. It would let them bring back dead charachers without any issues and give them new movesets because they would have lantern rings.
My only issue with the new move sets would be at the end of the story the black lanterns all come back to life and therefore would no longer have access to a lantern ring so idk how they'd make it work

Johnny Cage - We know we’re getting an MK rep it’s far last time we got fan favorite Johnny Cage for some comedy relief!
Witchblade - We all know a female guest is needed from Netherealm! Sara as Witchblade would be a great pick!
The Tick - Again comic relief and the Uber upstanding moral good guy code would fit great in Injustice with a brawler character like the Tick!
Pink Ranger- Again female guest! She’s beloved by the fan base. You might be able to get Amy Joe Johnson for the voice. Green Ranger would have been the go to but sadly with JDF gone that’s not gonna happen. Red Ranger also unlikely given Austin Saint John issues with legal troubles and selling shirts of historical “great warriors” including certain mid 20th century European autocrats ( you can figure out who)
Anyway as a second archer imagine the Pink Ranger vs Green Arrow dialogue!
let’s be realistic, the mortal kombat guest will 100% be Liu Kang as he’s the fire god and created the new timeline. It won’t be Johnny til Injustice 5 or 6 tbh. It just doesn’t make sense yet

I think it can work better. Injustice is darker and both now have multiverse so you would be feee to set it anywhere without disturbing any on going storylines so if you wanted you could have it be a universe where superman has only just killed joker and not gone full on dictator @@JohnDoe12345.
Vixen should 100% be added, she’s literally in the injustice story on team Batman in the comics yet they only made her a cheetah skin… and it would be crazy how there’s 3 games yet not one Black Woman.
She wasn't on team Batman, she was on team Ra's.
A good storyline involving Bringing old characters back as well introducing new ones could be flashpoint. You could literally have Berry of the injustice universe, seeing the aftermath of everything, involving Superman and brainiac and deciding to use his powers to change the timeline after a bit of convincing.
Imagine a Darkseid vs Trigun vs Zod story. Batman and Superman have to join forces, and you have that great philosophy battle of "the ends justify the means" or "all life is precious" that seems to be prevalent in these games, only crank it up to 11
I would say Scarecrow could return if he wasn't voiced by Robert England but because it was it kinda seems unlikely since he probably need to be paid a lot to voice him and i don't think WB would do it again

Okay. First of all, cool video. Some of your choices are great.
Although, i'm an a-hole and i can't with myself:

* According to rumours, the plot of "Injustice 3" (Before Warner made a "Warner" and forced NRS to develop a new MK) was an invasion from the Injustice 2 ending where Superman win to the Parallel Earth that helped the Resistance in the first game but, again, all that is rumours.
* Having Atrocitus and Sinestro is like having Zod and Supergirl: Too many same-type of characters at the same time.
* Cassandra Cain, Mary Marvel (Who can be called "SHAZAM"), Carol Ferris and Mera are great options, which could add A LOT to the gameplay.
* Conner Kent in not a brawler (I think only the Young Justice version is). He's Superman but with tactile telekinesis.
* Beast Boy is a great add to replace Cheeta/Vinex from Injustice 2. Animal Man is also a good option.
* John Constantine is a NO. The thing about John is how good he is to win fight without throwing a punch. In that case, it would be better bring back Zatanna or Raven (Although, Raven could replace Dr.Fate).
* Tim Drake as Robin could be a good addition.
* King Shark to replace Bane is a great idea. Shark is "trending" and Bane is burned-out by now.
* I'm not even gonna talk about how impossible is to make Boston Brand a playable character.
* If Peacemaker is in the game, forget about Deathstroke and Deadshot. He's the "Gun Guy". Although, John Cena would come back?
* Techinically, there is a version of Reverse Flash called ZOOM (Hunter Zolomon) which power isn't run faster but slow time. New gameplay?
* Mr.Miracle is a good idea, but where is Big Momma Big Barda?
If you want more villains: Some of those could be: Icicle (JSA Villain and a replace for Killer Frost/Captain Cold), Eclipso, Giganta, Man-Bat, Talon, Copperhead, Circe, Vandal Savage, Ocean Master, Any of the Fatal Five, Anyone from Earth-3, Goddamn Superboy-Prime.
Now, if you want a multiversal plot to bring all kind of flavours to the game, they should do "Zero Hour". The event where Parallax (Hal Jordan) tried to merge all the timeline into one, in an attemp to make a perfect all-good Earth.

Doomslayer as DLC?
(DC had a Doomslayer before Doom games,his a highly evolved clone of the original Doomsday being a super genius and a high tech Cyborg)
since in canon with Injustice comics there are a lot of dead characters, it would be awesome to do a darkest night arc, where goodies and badies have to get togher to fight the undead lanters
.Doomsday could return as he is practically immortal.
.The Crime Syndicate could appear if Injustice 3 is about the multiverse who teams up with Injustice Superman.
.Perhaps Superboy Prime could appear if they commit to a Crisis event.
. If it involves time travel we could see the Legion of Superheroes as it was hinted at by Brainiac five appearing in Injustice 2 when you used Brainiac in the arcade game mode.
. A character like Talon from the Court of Owls could work as well, some sort of zombie Nightwing as he was supposedly targeted by the court when his parents died in the comics. This could work as a plot point for some alliance between Batman and Robin as Nightwing’s death is what caused the two to fall out. We never saw the two properly interact in Injustice 2’s storyline and it would be nice for Bruce and Damien to work together again to try and save/revive Nightwing.

Could you do a video ranking the super moves in the Mario sports games because even typically only rank fighting game supers, it would make for a fun twist and something different, plus those games have some pretty good supers.

He-Man & Skeletor will definitely be DLC,they even have a non-cannon comic (Injustice Versus Masters Of The Universe) where Supes wins IJ2 and the Bat team recruit He-Man to help AND he becomes Shazam.

I think it all shakes out to which ending is canon,unless like you said they go the multiverse route. Which could get messy,i personally would like to see the phantom zone ending fleshed out (as cool as brainiac superman is) i think it could even be backdoor for zodd to appear again. Maybe have it where superman comes back all haggard but is able to control the denziens of phantom zone like zodd. Did or even find a way of tying in the phantom zone leaking into the injusticr verse haha idk. Either way though IJ3 going to be intresting if it happens.

I’m hoping we get He Man and Lion-O as DLC. We had he man cross over with injustice in the comics and if they do a theme of 80s cartoon characters like how they did 80s action heroes in mortal kombat.
What with all the characters killed off in the Injustice universe im surprised you didnt think of a Blackest Night kinda story. Something that brings back deceased characters then at the end of the story they're all brought back to life. Could be a good way to have a lot of returning characters.
I know mk mugens didn't make it for your next video, but i would LOVE for you to do that in the future man

Not to mention how many characters they could use as premiere skins- I love the idea because there’s more story telling opportunities without over loading on character sets
it's not a new character, but as far as re-skins go, like in the first game barry can be swapped to reverse flash and captain cold can be swapped to mister freeze, i think for one jay, wally and either eobard or wallace would all be really cool in those slots for the flash, if damian returns tim dick and jason's robins could all also be options, green arrow could be swapped for roy harper, i just think there's a lot of potential in that system especially since the reskins don't have to conform to injustice canon
what I hope they do is have an expansion story like they’ve done with MK 11 where the DLC (aside from guests) actually have a presence in the plot
The Undertaker and Kane would be great for Injustice. Nether realm have already produced a WWE game and I can’t see any issues for WWE lending their trademarks. Gameplay wise, two powerhouses who can use fire, lightning, blackouts, zombie powers, teleportation and then you add in their wrestling moves such as the iconic Tombstone and Chokeslam as grapples then big boots, clotheslines and dives as potential strikes. There is a lot to work with here and opportunity for alternate skins/attires. I imagine there’d be a fairly big market for this and great support for it from fans as they’ve been two of the biggest wrestling stars of the last 30 years.
The way I see it injustice 3 should take place like 30 years in the future so instead of a Batman we get terry and some newer heroes like from young justice. They could take some of the moves from older heroes who will now probably be dead and give them to the new character because most of these new characters are just younger version of the older ones. The main plot would be them trying to take down an escaped Superman from the fanton zone with some sort of multiverse threat on the side
If they have Ras Al Ghul, they can have him enter the stage by the ground opening up and then him crowling up through the green goo of the Lazarus Pit. Then, if he wins, he can do a combo Nosferatu/Nestea Plunge back into it.
As a fan of the comics I am hoping that they don’t throw away that continuity or start retconning stuff wildly so that would work against some of your picks.
-Zod was killed by Amazo and his heart was surgically put in to superboy to save him
-Boston brand is no longer deadman in this universe, Dick Grayson is.
-sinestro dies in the fight against starro
-John Henry Irons died in the metropolis nuke, Natasha is the current Steel in this universe
-king shark was killed by Flash
-Ra’s is killed right before injustice 2

6:30 Brand was replaced as Deadman by Richard Grayson, so I don't think Brand would be there but we could see a Nightwing return with a revamped moveset.
7:48 Superboy could only appear if Wonder Girl and some members of the Legion of Superheroes. Also the Injustice version of Superboy is capable of flight and heat vision, he's basically a weaker version of Superman that has the same powers, I could see him and Cassie Sandsmark making it into the game if they are skins of their former teachers.
8:22 Gar is dead along with Bart Allen and Jesse Quick, yes I know you mentioned this, but I wanted to make the comment that Starfire is the only original member of the Titans (Grayson, Raven, Cyborg, Gar, Speedy, Bart, Conner, Cassie, Tim) that is alive and in the present time.
9:29 It could be Natasha Irons, John Henry's niece, but it can't be the original as he died in the Metropolis explosion along with most of the characters I've written down.

12:25 Ra's al Ghul is dead and can't be revived by any Lazarus Pit, he doesn't have a head. Now there is potential for Talia to be in the game and it could connect to the voice lines in Injustice 2. When you pair Scarecrow and Robin together, there is a certain voice line that Scarecrow says where he mentions that Damian couldn't save his mother. That flashback could be shown in Injustice 3 where Talia dies because we never saw her die in the comics.
13:12 Shiera was the Hawkgirl that served alongside Superman in the first game. You could have Kendra join but then Shiera would need to die.
I don’t think they will bring back Black Adam since the movie wasn’t good but I like the list.
Some characters that I would want is to have the Justice League dark which would be Constantine, bring back Zatanna, Deadman, bring back Swamp Thing to promote his movie.

If the did a big Lantern storyline, I think Blackest Night might make more sense than Sinestro War, cuz then they can just bring any dead character back as a Black Lantern. Also fun fact from the comics, Boston Brand was killed but Dick Grayson took over as Deadman, so he'd still be a pretty cool character to have as a part of the continuity.

Larfleeze would be an easy instant main if they add him
I think a new Lantern besides Hal would be in the game. My vote is for Larfleeze because he has potential to be the most unique character in the game, but a strong second is Nekron. Also, while on the topic of villains, I think there would definetely be a Flash villain in here. Captain Cold or Gorilla Grodd could return imo, but I'd really love Mirror Master myself.

I would love to see Constantine throw his hat in the ring. He’s got a collection of magical artifacts as well as spells and we already got Zatanna in injustice 1.
I am praying that Injustice 3 does a Crisis on Two Earths/Crime Syndicate story. It is by far my favorite DCAU movie and if they can do the story well in this game it could go SO hard.
For interesting gameplay, Plastic-Man/Clayface would be great and leave room for the game designers to be creative
Also, can't forget my man MIRROR MASTER, the guy is just as crazy if not crazier than Reverse Flash (he's a real psychopath) and his gameplay would be so fun !

We need beast boy I know he died in the comic but cmon he would SO dope in the game his move set his animations
I really hate how everyone wants to put Mary in the game and just have her play like Billy and give her some basic revenge storyline. If that's the best people can come up with for her, it makes way more sense to put in Billy because he's the more popular one of the two. And since Injustice 3 is going to involve the multiverse, you can bring anyone back and it makes perfect sense. Hell, you could even have injustice Billy be resurrected by the Wizard's magic. He could even have a chapter that addresses how often he dies in events like this.
Shazam is one of the many characters who'd benefit from the intro dialogue system of Injustice 2, showcasing his jovial personality amongst the Insurgency and genuine disappointment in the regime. His mirror match intros could be the best in the game and reference his various codenames over the years.

Based on the comics and story hints in injustice 2, I think Constantine is pretty likely. A morally "grey" character like him fits into a fighting game really well
Also add John Kent- They should also try the ultraman storyline where injustice superman managed to kill ultraman
