This is really nice! I can’t wait to try it out. We currently maintain a flask site as a simple interface for clients and management to track progress, hopefully this can replace that for us.
Great video. Do you have a video on using and building workflows in a project? Looking to find a tutorial mainly being able to move issues (cards) to the correct Kanban column, so workflow creation in project management use.
This aspect of GitHub projects has the potential to be useful in the way a Gant Chart is, but it feels very unfinished, like it was pushed out to the public before it is ready. The idea of date fields seems convoluted at best, and I cannot see a way to drag the duration of an item to change its end date like in the video. I can make the task an iteration and that makes the resize handle visible, but dragging it has inconsistent results. It does drag, only when its an iteration, but where it does and does not work seems arbitrary; you cant just drag it to a date of your choice as often it just springs back. Why not just scrap the date fields idea, and allow people freely set the start and end date of each item. Also I do not see a way to visualize task dependencies.
How do you extend the duration of a field? For the life of me I cannot get the resize symbol to show up after creating a task and dragging it to a specific day
you must set a start and target date, via the + New Field. At least this is how it worked for me after 5 minutes trying. Convoluted, but it works in the end, I believe they will make it better.
Hi, I had the same problem, but it is easy to solve. They have already put the solution in the video description as Project Roadmaps Docs. But in quick answer: you just have to have 2 date fields in the date section.
if I used for an exemple a marker called "'TV Spot" (wich is a milestone). It seems not been displayed because there is no issue attached to it. Could you confirm that there is no way to show this milestone ? thank you
I love GitHub Checkout. Great way to see demos of upcoming features. Thanks for keeping the checkout series going!
Hey Brian! Yea! Trying to get a good cadence going! More to come!

Would love to see how this works with Story Points and Agile Development.
Good. More tutors like that. Thanks !

Wow, looks pretty cool!

Same problem here. I can't see the resize symbol
Same problem here too.

Hmm, I'm having difficulty with this as well. Will send feedback to the team

is there a way to look at a roadmap across multiple projects?
how can I group multiple issues in an Epic?
Does github project has epics?
i cant drag the items to make them longer i cant drag the end date to make them longer
Hmm, I can't seem to do it either. Will send feedback to the team!
