- Watch this incredible footage of the start of the Karting Genk 24h race. 48 teams battling hard for every position. And then when it settles down a bit, the rain starts, creating absolute chaos.
Our 'Karting4U by Talent Factory' team qualified a decent P14 with a so-so kart but lost out early during the first few laps. We managed to come back till around P15-17 but then the kart lost it's transponder, which we didn't notice until many laps later. Did a pitstop and got a new transponder but we lost about 15 laps this way, which we couldn't get back because apparently making sure the transponder is tightly attached is the team's responsibility. Finally finished P31 but if you subtract the 15 laps lost due to missing transponder we would have finished P16-P17 which would have been a great result amongst this very strong international field.

What a chaotic start! Drivers racing like it was a sprint race, really crazy. Can i ask you which app you use to display live timing on the phone? Looks much better than Apex "onboard" mode, where a lot of information is missing. Thanks!
the live timing display is something I developed myself using the Apex data. It’s still under development but once it’s stable I plan to make it available for others as well.

no it’s using the Apex live timing data over a 4G connection. that way I can also display the gap to driver before and after.
