The community did not ask for this. Just a bunch of greedy politicians and developers. Why not just build a new stadium with parking included?
50 YEAR PLAN FOLKS...WHILE THE DEVELOPER RAKE IN MILLIONS...
Con men - the stadium is too small - should be at least 30 thousand seats.
I agree ... only caters to rich. We need 60k stadium. Not high rise condos
Look at the land space..
@jasonsalazar3505 It's not setup for 60k..
ill put out there comon problem is wat about the parking
Thats what the rail is for. No parking at all
Just because it works for Kansas City doesn't mean it will work for Honolulu. A brief Google search shows that Kansas City has a cost of living tht is approximately 47%-70% LESS. The median cost of a house in Kansas City is $237K, while the median cost in Honolulu is $635K . Guaranteed those apartments the "master developers" are planning are going to be waaay more than $237K. And that's not counting maintenance fees. As it is right now, local families are being forced to leave home because of costs. A new stadium for UH to call home is one thing; but concert halls, museums, and halls of fame? These master developers need to wake up from their dreams and pay attention to the reality of what Hawaii's people need right now so that they can afford basic needs. Not everyone has an income over $200K/yr.
Don't you think they factored that in.
@@LonnieBrewer-dd4wi No, I don't think they factored it in. But if they did, then they are either intentionally ignoring the fact that the cost of living here makes for less discretionary funds or it doesn't occur to them that the majority of people in Hawaii don't make a hundred or two K/year like they do.
what a horrible idea. bringing mainland party venues to Hawaii. JUST BUILT A GOD DAMN STADIUM!
Yup who cares how it looks, let’s see more construction, less talking 😂
Your not looking at the big picture.
SCAMd😊😊😊
It should be completely covered. Sun and rain should be a thing of the past.
Too expensive..
P😢😢R tax MUPPETS...🎉🎉🎉
😂😂😂EK8🤡8✔️💉⌛️🪦
Congestion. Think Pearl Highlands intersection but much worse.
Not everyone will use the rail and bus combo.
Rail DEJA VU!
Low income ?? Give me a break its a developer SCAM. All because housing is much more profitable in Hawaii That's why they want to add those apartments.
So basically its gonna look ugly af in a really outdated prehistoric 70's style that will be very disappointing...
But wait there's more...
After 15 years of construction delays and excuses and costing 45 billion dollars, they are going to present an upgraded look with higher price tag and completion date for the year 3075 🎉
You don't know that..
just make casino gambling legal and put one there in addition to other stuff. then folks will always use the rail.
Bad idea, with casinos comes headaches.
Just more Ward type condos and development, get outta here.
That looks sick! Highrises are interesting though
No need for high rises..
