Wishing you the best! I am persuaded that there are many parts of this journey that are beyond our control. I am focusing on what I can control. I predict that you will be successful because of your honesty. Keep being authentic. Your "tribe" will find you.
I love the way you speak to camera - Your authenticity shines through. Doing a script can take away from that...I know, I did it. Have you tried just writing bulletpoints and working from there? I think that could help with your presenting style. The couple of videos of yours I've seen, your sincerity shines through and that's what a lot of people want to see. Try just talking to camera for 5 minutes everyday - give yourself a topic to talk about, make the video and save or delete...you don't have to publish, but doing it everyday will help you get more comfortable. Good luck! If I can do it in my 60s, so can you. You're doing great! Don't beat yourself up!
@@JamesMurphyYT thanks for the tips. They will come in handy moving forward. I’m working out what feels best for me. I see your channel is a year old. How long did it take for you to get comfortable talking to a camera?
@LukeItUp Early this summer when I stopped using scripts and started using bulletpoints. It gave me the freedom to speak as me. That's why I think it will work for you.
Another awesome video Luke and so spot on. I have these same issues of consuming when I should be producing. Sometimes it's in the name of "research" or "learning", but that could be just a convenient excuse to procrastinate.
The fact RUclips is recommending your video to me means you're doing something right. The algorithm has chosen you so keep pumping content and go all in if this is what you really want.
