A Wireless Distribution System (WDS) is a system that enables the wireless interconnection of access points in an IEEE 802.11 network. It allows a wireless network to be expanded using multiple access points without the need for a wired backbone to link them, as is traditionally required. For more information about WDS, please refer to Wikipedia. The instruction below is a solution for SOHO WDS connection.
In order to build a successful WDS connection between different devices, it requires that both devices usethe same wireless MAC address format.For example,Site A uses 4-address MAC Address format in passive WDS bridge mode,Site B also uses 4-address MAC Address format in active WDS bridge mode.

Tplink অ্যাপস থেকে lan ip দেখে তারপর firmware এ প্রবেশ করেন ,,,,,,, যদি প্রথম রাউটার ও সেকেন্ডারি রাউটার এর lan ip একই থাকে তাহলে সেকেন্ডারি রাউটার টা একবার রিসেট দিয়ে lan ip চেঞ্জ করে wds মুড কানেক্ট করে ব্যাবহার করেন তাহলেই হবে,,,,

Sir i have built connection using WDS between two tplink routers A and B .
Router B has internet connection by cable network and In router A WDS is enabled
but I cannot use the Access Control to restrict websites from internet on router A
So i need help to maintain a internet connection from router A with some websites blocked
Kindly make a video or reply and help me .

Hello brother i hve done all the settings but in wds mode all other networks are visible except my 5G network is not showing plz help me how to do thanks

1. LAN IP of the extended router should be different but in the same subnet of the root router. for example extended router IP 192.168.0.2 and main router IP 192.168.0.1
2. Sometimes the main router channel can create a problem so you change the main router 5G network channel. you can use 161 or 162
3. If you want to connect your extended router with the main router 5g network you must set your extended router closer to the main router because the 5g network not covering log distance.
4.Then you search again youe main router from extended router wds.
