My London Underground Observations and impressions during my London Visit.
You can see the different rolling stocks and stations and short rides for example A60 Stock. The Video is long but the London Underground is very intersting.(special for London my TheBerlin09 Underground Logo)

Leider ist das Video etwas lang geworden, aber die London Underground ist einfach ein sehr interessantes System. (speziell für London mein TheBerlin09 Undergroundlogo)

Thanks for posting this - just been to London (from Western Australia, where public transport is an embarrassing joke) and loved the Tube - and the buses, the DLR and the Ferry. With Google maps on my smartphone I never ever felt lost. Great Vid, and many thanks for using HD
Thank you for this video! I remember watching this when I was a little kid and now I grown up I still do watch it every now and then. I have been on the D and C stock but it’s not something I entirely remember as I was very young. Last time I saw the D stock (but didn’t ride it) was in 2017 at South Kensington. It really gives nostalgia of the Underground and the time when it had a lot more character.

Crazy how they put 2012 in the title and we assume this wasn't even that long ago but it's been 12 years
i once worked on the tube back in the 70s, its so much cleaner ,and well kept now, so some things have improved

I had great fun watching this. I'm a Londoner and I managed to guess where we were each time before a station sign appeared. Already those A60 Metropolitan line trains are history.

Most deep level lines haven't changed since 2012 but sub-surface lines changed completely
Yeah. The stock is more boring. But the S stock is quite good though.

@@GMDpowerman11 Hopefully when the S stock get replaced TFL adds back the 3 different stocks for the lines. So met gets trains suited for long journeys. District gets trains suited for semi long. Circle and H&C gets trains for short distance urban services.

London years ago used have lots of unique trains and most tube lines had their on stock (excluding the Waterloo and city line ) but nowadays it’s just kinda the same for some of the lines. Anyways, great video !

Great video. I just love films about shifty looking men in blue hooded jackets. The trains were quite interesting too.
It's an air compressor. Air is used for the brakes & the doors. I'm not sure, but on older trains before electronic motor control air was used to control the D.C. motors remotely from the driver's cab by stepping out resistances as the train accelerates resulting in the characteristic jerky departing from a station if the driver is clumsy while `notching up'.

It's interesting seeing these older clips and no one in on their phones. I mean they didn't really exist then but still. And then fast forward 10 years later and half of people are on their phones. Crazy how much can change in a decade

At least, I've traveled in the old A60 stock. Got really surprised, I haven't seen a metro train with luggage racks on my life!

Green Park to Stratford on the Jubilee Line is definitely the best/most modern stretch
the metal box above the train at Sloane Square at 00:40 is the River Westbourne, a lost river of London
Mind the gap, I'll be in London in 12 days, arriving to the Paddington st from Heathrow, for my 24th visit. Love the good ol'London town.

The old A stock was looking rather tired in its last few years. I love the new Victoria line stock.

Nah, the new victoria line stock is smaller inside and an average 2 degrees Centigrade higher - yuk
The new stock looks awful on the outside but nice on the inside, I really like the rather quaint and bouncy bakerloo line stock and the Piccadilly line stock is good too
It’s because it was neglected because who would want to do some proper maintenance if the train is going to be retired in a few months?
Watch this with a nice cinematic piece of music and it gets even better.

Absolut cooles Video - Wirklich Top Aufnahmen in super Qualität! Da hat sich jemand viel Zeit für sehr viele und vor allem realtiv weit auseinanderliegenden Streckenteile genommen. Hat sich doch schon einiges verändert seit meinem Besuch. Die A60 Videos finde ich am besten. Auch wenn ich den S-Stock gelungen finde, kannst du in etwa sagen, wie stark die A60er noch vertreten sind? Kommt auf alle Fälle gleich mal in die Favoriten!

Get used to the 2009 stock. It's one of my favourites and the 1967 stock is the worst stock in the world

ja stimmt war von zone 1 bis 6 unterwegs, es waren zu meiner überraschung noch relativ viele A60 stocks unterwergs, im abschnitt nach amersham nur A60 Züge :D
aber ich finde auch den S Stock ganz gelungen, aber die alten haben einen tollen feeling =)

Its misfiring lol. I think they did not bother servicing the trains as it was getting replaced by the new stock. It used to annoy me when sitting inside it was really loud.

naja die A60 Stock Züge sind etwas ungewöhnlich, mag aber die sehr Sesselartigen sitze, den C Stock habe ich in meinem Besuch auch sehr schätzen gelernt und die 1972er Stock finde ich auch toll :D

Do you know when? Although I do sort of admit, they are really loud and rattly in the trains, but they do have some life left in them
+trainlover288 1972s are going in 2020 I think D stocks are still around but going too.
I think the D's are going until 2017, enough time to enjoy them while they last on the underground. At least they get another life elsewhere in the country

richtig nutzen konnte ich nur ein tag, die 2 anderen tagen waren eher hinflug/abflug, also sind die sogut wie alle aufnahmen in einem tag entstanden.
Ich hab da maal ne frage. Klingt jetzt vielleicht komisch aber dürfte ich dein video verwenden um verschiedene auszüge in einem lied von mir zu spielen? ich mag die Ansagen und warnungen und würde gerne einen mix mit diesen machen... danke schon mal im vorraus für das tolle video. :)
