Trump stated upfront he would sign a congress DACA bill. Why I stress this is because that is legally how it is done, Obama broke the law with his DACA deal. Remember 3 branches of government. Presidents enforce the law they don't create it unless they are not a president and are a dictator. The Democrats will not work with the Republicans because the Republicans said they would only do DACA if Democrats would get rid of lottery and chain immigration. That was the specific subject of the closed door meeting. Lottery immigration means you must select people from shithole countries not based on those people's merit but on the fact that it is a shithole country. I believe Trump may have referred to those countries as shitholes. That is OK.
I condemn Trump's remark because it implies only bad people come from shithole countries. This is wrong great people can come from such countries. We need to get rid of lottery immigration and judge all people not on their country of origin but on the person's merit. I hate how Trump talks but I sure agree with a lot of his policy. I loved how Obama talked but hated most of his policy.
