Klipsch is an amazing brand. I have two of the later tower speakers in my room, I can hear them easily across my two acre yard from inside my fairly soundproof house. They have such amazing sound that I feel like I’m having an out of body experience every time I hear them lol
SVS Ultra speakers are outstanding in every sense of the word. Fill the room with great sound. and can play all ranges of sound if you don't have a good subwoofer.
My favorites that I've had so far are my Polk XT60 towers. I've had Sony, pioneer, cerwin vega, klh, and jvc. Overall sound is way better than anything else I've had. Bass is surprisingly good, considering my last towers were KLH 12". Just sounds way more balanced. Everyone that has heard them has said there's no way I don't have a sub hooked up somewhere lol.
I know a person will always "hear" the SVS through the colorization of their computer speakers but with my large Klipsch CF-4's and sealed 15" sub the sound that came through was fantastic. I really liked the overall balance of the SVS, it had a very pleasant sound.
I have CF3s and the Klipsch sub that I bought at the same time (back in '95) wouldn't keep up with them at high volume. Took the Klipsch sub back and bought a Carver Sunfire sub.
I’ve got Yamaha ns-f51 for 225€ they are really good for the price, as they don’t need much power to released good sound but more power amp can really pull out powerful sound and deep bass that crosses the body without distortion and high frequencies are well balanced too
Boston Acoustics has one hell of a set of old tower speakers, which I own. Also the top of the line Infinity speakers from 30 or 40 years ago. Seriously like sitting in a concert hall.
Just bought Q Acoustics 3050, I can't believe speakers of this caliber are less than $1000. If you're looking for great "budget" speakers, I'm not sure you can do much better.
All these are great for the price. But very different beast. You need to be more informative. Klipsch, easy to power. Sonus Fabre need 75-100 solid state. KEF like power too. The 3050s are tuff to beat for the money. Jbl 890s if you catch them on sale are nice too. Also all Sonus Fabre Venere line are not hand built in Italy but the orient side of the Ocean. Read some reviews watch some U tube lots of great choices out there now at this price point. But remember some speakers take more power to run
Well to be fair he did say that the Q Acoustics could be played with the amplifier turned all the way up .... I'm guessing 60 ohm speakers will do that for you lol.
It is difficult to tell which of the models is the best because I must hear speakers to make a decision. But, Sonus faber Venere 2.5 looks nice and could be the one that I will buy and it will suit in my living room!
I hope you have a lot of money to get them repaired because if anything goes wrong with them you will be paying more to fix them than they are worth. lol
99.9% of comments = my speakers are better than these. People don't seem to realize that these "top ten" videos are just someone's opinions and shouldn't be considered anything else. Want a "top ten" speaker; go listen to as many speakers as you can and then pick the ones that sound best to you.

There's always "How come you didn't include 'xyz' speaker just because I happen to own them", and "I just listened to 'abc' speaker and it's the best I've ever heard because I say so", responses that add little value to anybody. I feel the original poster did do a pretty good job of comparing and contrasting the different models (I don't have the time or the inclination to come up with such a commentary). There's a social commentary to be made about how it's harder to audition in person these days, making online reviews of any sort more valuable. Most of us are also aware that there's only so many real speaker designs, with far more makes and models than there are real products. What I look at is how the manufacturer deals with the compromise necessary to meet a certain price point: I tend to look for quality drivers at a reasonable price, rather than glitzy finishes or fancy cabinets.
Please identify the triple-column wood equipment stand in the last speaker description, the Sonus Farber. I need exactly that for a triple amplifier system.
My suggestions. Recommend the Sonus Faber Chameleon T tower speaker speaker of venere 2.5 for the natural sound and vocals. Venere S would be better too ;)

I can't agree with this ranking. I've already heared the Klipsch RF 7 III in my music room and was a bit disapointed. The Canton Reference 5k and even the Canton Vento 896 DC is much more balanced and musical.
Don't buy Sonus Faber speakers if you want customer service it will cost you an arm and a leg. I needed a schematic to fix my mates Sonus subwoofer, customer service wanted $200 for a copy! That was just the start and things got way worse for parts. Avoid these like the plaque.
KEF - are you serious??? At 1:54 i see a 8Ohm rated Speaker with a 3.5Ohm Impedance minimum??? KEF - do your physics homework - a 8Ohm Speaker is allowed to have a 20% less impedance minimum - that´s 6,4Ohms!!! That´s a 4Ohm Speaker, man. But so you can sell better to the home cinema people i guess - but shame on you for not knowing your business physics!!!

That's a good point. Those 590s are marvellous for any kind of music. Fyne Audio F501 also blows a lot last time. He didn't mention these, too. Nor Monitor Audio's Silver Editions. Nor SVS. Nor Wharfedale Diamond Series. Nor B&W's Even Dali got some affordabe Floor Speakes with adequate sound. So it's a more personal choice....
Many speakers at box and driver resonance go that high. If you think a speakers impedance is a static number you are mistaken. Impedance varies with frequency so your nominal 8 ohm speaker can be between 30 ohms and 5 ohms depending on frequency. I would suggest you are the one who doesn't know what he is talking about. Probably the worst sounding speakers ever made.For one thing they have no crossover on the woofer so the cone break up interferes with the midrange and treble.

Buy used. There has been virtually no meaningful improvement in loudspeaker performance for decades. Some of the best designs date back decades ago. Find a better speaker for the money than an Infinity Renaissance 90 from 28 years ago which on the second hand Market will stomp on anything listed here.
DO NOT buy KEF, the most overpriced speakers there is. The fact that Wharfedale Evo 4.4 isn't on this list is herecy.. outclasses all speakers in its pricerange.

Kappa 7s here, wouldn't trade em for any of these sets, pretty sure the old dogs would still compete with any of these if not best them.
had both in the 80's but gave them away decades ago - now have to find replacements but will always think those old Boston's and Infinity were nice

Find a better speaker for the money than an Infinity Renaissance 90 from 28 years ago which on the second hand Market will stomp on anything listed here.
