@@TheReesy hmmm that game you linked ends in Viper winning though, and MBL only lames him a boar and 2 sheep, so you might be thinking of a different one

@@wishcraft4u2 That was the wrong game, there was one back on Voobly, where Viper and MBL tried laming each other, when they met halfway, viper kept going back to his base, but MBL stopped the boar that Viper was laming, it ran back to MBL's base and he kept the boar that he was laming, so he ended up with 3 Boar and Viper only 1.

I'm confused why did it not work?
Rubenstock saw MBL's villagers and the obvious spot the TC was about to be built so he garrisoned all vills in his own TC immediately and was already spam right-clicking the spot before MBL's vills had started building it, he of course got the first arrow volley in before the TC had more HP than the TC's attack and so Rubenstock oneshotted it and MBL lost all the resources the TC cost
well, that's one way to lose a match! :) xD

I have no idea what's happening here.
MBL on the right is trying a strategy known as "The persian douche".
In age of empires, you start with a town centre, which produces vils and can defend them through arrows. You can't build new ones until later in the game though ... unless its destroyed
Persians have a unique bonus though, which gives their TCs much more hit points. This means that if you were, in early game, to run forward with all of your villagers, and build a TC right by there TC, it would be able to destroy their TC without being destroyed itself. This sows chaos, ruins the early game resource collection order, and is genuinely just a nightmare to try and deal with. This is a meme strategy at the best of times as you have to delete your TC as part of this. So your own economy ect will be in chaos too.
MBL tries this, but its immediately spotted and destroyed by rubenstock before it can be completed. Meaning that MBL loses the resources and basically has lost the game.
I know about the Persian douche. The last paragraph is what I don't understand. How did MBL fail? What made his TC foundations go down?
@@RapidMike32 So as the villagers build a building it gains HP. Usually when you do a persian douche you have enough villagers there to give the new TC health faster then then the enemy TC can deplete it.
But here, MBLs villagers are coming in a line, so only a few vils are building. Rubenstock reacts fast enough, almost immediately to fire on the TC whilst its at extremely low health during the build process. This is why forwards of any kind are SUPER dangerous.

@@RapidMike32 Also Rubenstock is known for being the master of the persian douche and even playing it in tournaments, so MBL tried to beat him at his own game and failed horribly. :)

mod for forest,gold,stone, you can see how much ramaing through height of cube.

@@pescadorCardoso When it gives you visual information you don't get otherwise. The mod only changes as much as the regular sprites. So wood only has two heights while gold will have more
If you can play with it, go for it, but a lot of people including myself find it harder to play with cubes. Rubenstock is essentially the only pro to use it
