The Flyers have been 0 for 3 in the Stanley Cup finals since his death, losing to the Oilers in 1987, the Red Wings in 1997, and the Blackhawks in 2010. All of us Flyers fans still love and miss you, Pelle. The Flyers need to officially retire his #31.

without a doubt, the Flyers would have won multiple stanley cups had he not died prematurely. He was that good. The best goalie in the NHL is hard to replace. We were a very good team afterwards, but not the same dominant team we were with him.

His death is still so sad and heartbreaking, whether you are a Flyers fan or not. His and Jerome Brown' s death are the saddest in the history of Philly sports as a result from car accidents.

I may have only been 3 years old when Pelle Died But I heard about what a great goalie he was and if he did not die The Flyers probably would have won the 1986 Stanley Cup and even 1987
