Based on what I can tell... Kelvin will only work for a certain amount of time before he needs a break/rest/food. So when he is up on a hill somewhere... he will wander around or back down to the main base to " rest". I have seen other videos where if you build a small house at the "work" location he will be able to pop in and rest... and then keep working. Seems like once you built the house up on the hill near the pond... he did become more effective at that location. May have to build him another rest house up near the other stone collection area. That location would be suited to a stone mini-keep/tower... since it has a great view of the full village below from the edge of the cliff there. (could have a zip line from the top down to the main base as well. The other option is to shoot Kelvin in the face... or get him to use the brothel so he can unwind. LOL.
Yeah I was thinking of putting a small keep or tower up there. The view of the base is really nice. I agree, since I've built that house for Kelvin he's been working well up there.
when you cant fill in the stair side wall i like to stick a half beam support in so it matches the diagonal beam of the stairs...it doesnt fill it in but it looks good in my opinion, youll see what i mean when you take a look around my base
Thanks for the vid. Have you tried blueprinting a single horizontal log and a single verticle log, you can then try using them to help make banisters in the end tower.
The sequel is just as good as the original... it is just different. I seem to recall just as many "complaints" about bugs and other "issues" during the early release testing of the original The Forest.
I don’t mean to offend but I always wonder why you say “Sledge” when referring to the log “Sled”. You add a’G’ sound to the end is sled that’s not there. LoL I know it those Americans don’t know how to talk.
@@Maj0rHav0c Well no, that would be Sledgehammer. Just because the G was removed from the English way of saying it doesn't mean we change the way we say other things.
n British English, sledge is the general term, and more common than sled. Toboggan is sometimes used synonymously with sledge but more often to refer to a particular type of sledge without runners.

How does one create a really great game like The Forest then epically fuck up on the sequel?

Sledge is the English way of saying it
@@Kills4ThrillsGaming so how do you Brits say Sledgehammer? Sledhammer?
