    To maximize profits, companies engineer their products to only last, maybe as long as their warranty, with an acceptable failure rate. Sad isn't it?
    You know the old saying, "they don't make it like that anymore..." I eventually modify\bolster almost everything we buy that is around here more than a couple years.
