Margin call (2011), one of my favorite movies, highly recommend to watch it ! Most of it got recorded on 1 office floor during 17 days of recording. Budget was 3.5m $ and it made 19.5m $ too bad most people don't know of it... (5m & 27m in todays money)
Yeah I was surprised when I found out about the movie when looking up business related movies. It was really good. Just outright displayed a series of events in one night which made the whole event even more hectic.
That's why there was a bee line of managers before that happened. They even rechecked the numbers to make sure it the model is correct on paper before further escalation. Even if it was somehow a bad model, it would just make them look like fools in the grand scheme of things. Remember, it is always easier to just be first.
@@DrAhzek And after the whole beeline of managers came in and tried to intimidate him, what was the line they used when talking to each other once he was out of earshot? "The kid killed it." Lots of creative liberties, but this is still a great movie. And the casting was perfect.
@@scurry9790491 At what point did they try to intimidate him? The trio was just douchebags, typical corpo-trash that got high up due to "fake it till you make it". I see guys like these every day and trust me, they are harmless if you represent anything of value. They just make scary faces and use passive-aggressive tone to sound important - it is not directed towards you or anyone in particular.

Every now and then the youtube algorithm presents worthy material. to say this worked perfectly to help me complete 3 presentations in one night, is an understatement. I'll sub for more thank you very much.
Studied for my Quantitative Risk Management Class while listening to this. I got a 91 on my exam btw. It's ironic because Peter, Will, Seth work in Risk Management and it feels so immersive.
I may not know your motivation for making this video, but I applaud you for the upload. Academia stands no chance against me and my new symphonic companion.
Honestly I've never felt I was missing out on that much when folks "go out" I do get fomo when the boys are big gaming or playing board games at a small house party though, but that's rare these days
Been studying for the LSAT for a while, been looking like this for a while now. It's interesting seeing what the places you walk around look like at night so frequently. The noise picks up at a median hour sometimes, midnight on a weekend but usually dies out by 2 or so once folks have had enough. It's such an fascinating thing to listen to while working
I’ve been seeing this video comes across my timeline and I’m finally getting a chance to check it out. Def much needed & much relaxing while I’m at work. Anyway take care everyone & be safe 🫡💪🏾💐
this genuinely made me super productive!! i just purchased noise-cancelling headphones for the first time and every second i was listening to this i felt like i was in my own little world. i'm definitely going to check out the rest of your content, thanks so much!
This is Auditory-Perfection, if such a concept exists. Makes a good companion to finishing a 3000 essay due midnight, and you're starting it the same evening.
Dude you are amazing, keep making more and more faster and faster. I had the similar idea, but you did a great job, make more and specially work related
Thanks for this. Subscribed right away. One of my favourite movies and scenes. The Theory of Everything I think would be a good fit here if you're taking requests.

I rented Margin Call because I loved Big Short. Margin Call has great actors, but it seemed like there were no characters... like almost no feeling involved in any of them. Anyone else?
Intro is incredible man, such a smooth transition into the movie's own soundtrack. genius. Instant sub.
So true 👍

- The Accountant (2016)
- Ex Machina (2014)
