God has truly blessed this young lady with incredible control and sound as a cornet player! The best I've ever heard! As a 60 year old female cornet player - I know what I'm talking about. Never stop playing - it's a gift to us all!

I was lucky enough to attend this performance last year..... Just an incredible performance from beginning to end..... of course Ashley was the highlight of the week!
After all the thousands of hours practice she still appears to really enjoy performing. Brilliant performance. The joy she shows is only a an infinitesimal amount of the joy we feel in hearing and seeing this rendition.
👍👏👏 more than 70 years ago I would play this cornet solo on my 78 rpm set of records of “Rusty in Orchestraville” (by “Tommy the Trumpet”)I loved it so very much then, then and it inspired me to be a life log cornet player and middle school band director. I still can’t play the Herbert Clark arrangement as. well as either Tommy the Trumpet or this talented and marvelously accomplished young lady. But I enjoyed listening to it at age six and now again at seventy-seven. And Bravo to the Lexington Brass Band. I am a member of the “Lake Wobegon Brass Band here in Minnesota. Nice performance, soloist and band ! 🎶😊🎺👏👏

I recently watched Mrs. Hall on a masterclass video. I am a complete infant with my trumpet and what Mrs. Hall has learned and since taught on breathing applicable to efficient practice has made a big impression on me. Very humbling to watch her play. I cannot wait to see what she has in store musically for the future. Genius!

Wow lady that was stunning,,beautiful liquid cornet tone and effortless technique sliding through the super difficult sections,,wish she had been a bit closer to a mic to really hear her virtuoso skills up close ,amazing !
That player over the left shoulder of the conductor through the most of the piece looks like a model for an oil painting of Lord Byron. Wonderful music!
I have found playing the cornet instead of my trumpet helps to elevate the shoulder injury I have which is not only painful but the shaking is eliminated also

It’s called a BERP, it’s used for mouthpiece buzzing.
