Golden Star Morris: May Day and Weekend 2024

A montage of clips taken on May Day 2024, and the following weekend.
Golden Star Morris danced at dawn on 1st May along with Kemp's Men, and joined by The Lord Mayor of Norwich:
5am: St James's Hill, Mousehold Heath
6am: The Forum, Norwich
7am: Norwich Cathedral
Golden Star then performed at Upton-Upon-Severn Folk Festival over the early May bank holiday weekend. Singing was during a casual session at The Three Kings

Hi Emma, I'm only a few miles down the road from Norwich, if I'd known the event was going on then I'd have come along, if I could have got myself awake that early that is. Big respect to you all for having that much energy so early. I used to dance a little in my younger days but now I'm only a few months away from getting a free bus pass so I don't think I'd last for the whole tune these days. I could always put a whistle in my pocket and play wrong notes at the session in the pub afterwards :)

Hello! If you have Facebook, it might be worth following the Golden Star page as we often post into of what we're planning to do in the near future there. On 1st May, we dance at these spots every year at the same time, so we should be back next year!
