WHEN I first saw y’all were gonna make a big announcement, I thought it was gonna be that you were headed to the Panama Canal and then to the South Pacific. I am so disappointed y’all are gonna stop cruising, but if you’ll remember I had previously asked if the boys had been reticent about returning to boat life after your extended stay in Europe. Sons like they were. I’ll really miss your sailing videos. You’ve taken me - vicariously - to many places I’ll never be able to personally visit. Through your videos I feel as though I actually know you and your family. I hope the boys really understand what they’re giving up to go back to a “traditional” lifestyle. Your whole family has been living out a dream I’ve had since I was a very small boy. Best wishes and God’s blessings for all of your family’s future endeavors.
I discovered you yesterday, as we share the same anchorage, and today I see you leaving the cruising community, it's sad but the need of the family comes first. Cheers, Richard
Super congrats on your new direction! I have really enjoyed your videos. Thanks so much for taking the time to share :) Wish you the best in a quick sale and moving back home. F
It was awesome following Nohma starting a year before we got JOY, it helped us so much to actually plan our sailing journey since we took a very similar sailing path. Congratulations on such an awesome sailing journey and bringing to all a great story! We wish you guys all the best and we hope to continue to follow your adventures here on RUclips ! 💌Ed and Patricia
Very sad, however you must do what is best for the boys and like you said life is one big adventure, we thank you for the opportunity to allow us to follow you on your adventures, best of luck, we will miss you all ❤❤❤❤
Dreamed of it? For sure! I would absolutely buy Nohma if I came even close to be able to afford this beautiful boat. Best of luck with selling it! Looking forward to seeing where the channel is going and hope to see you back on a boat in the foreseeable future since your videos are very enjoyable!
Enjoyed your channel! Just Subscribed.I’m trying to convince my wife that a circumnavigation is a great retirement project and went so far as to even start a little channel (@NavalGazingatCampDavid) to sell her on the life style….desperate times and all that. Lol. Thanks again for the great content. I have a whoooole new appreciation for the time and care it takes to create these episodes!

Gotta be happy nearly 20k subscribers and a great followers Me like many I gather followers due to your nature All the best I was hoping for a pacific crossing and Australia but ohh well
Thanks Mal! We are truly happy we got to make this amazing trip and are very thankful for the many followers who enjoyed it together with us. We’re going to focus on the kids for now and who knows… maybe in a few years we’ll make that pacific crossing happen after all 😉
I did always wonder how long it would last with kids involved. Us adults may yearn for the beauty and adventure of the open seas but kids get bored real quick - scenery and the occasional dolphin don't make up for the variety and excitement of other kids, sport, school, girls (eewww!!). It seems to me that you either do all your adventures before kids (but not many can afford that) or you wait until they've left home (and then you're too old and tired to bother) or you don't have them at all, work for 10 years and then jack it all in for the boat life.
Hi Geoff! She is currently in Martinique. You can find more info, pictures and the price on our website: www.sailingnohma.com/forsale And if you have any more questions, we’re happy to answer them.
Your selling your boat to have a normal life so my question to u what's normal like for a kids me growing up in a military house hold that move around 🤔
Normal? No, thank you… we prefer unexpected! 🤩 Life is what you make of it and everyone should strive to make life special in their own way. In our family we respect each others needs, make decisions together, try out new things and see how we like them. ❤️ Cheers to life!
