@j.noblemeserole3938 Unfortunately he doesn't drive using Happy's form, he just happens to hit it as far. He does putt it with the same hockey form. What's sad is aside from you and myself in another comment, no one else here even mentioned Happy Gilmore which tells me everyone here is too young to even get the reference or realize that's exactly how Happy putts. They either think he's the first person to do it, or I saw one person say "that's how people who identify as they/them putt," which I don't even know what that means, so I guess I'm too old for that.
More like he drives as far as Happy but without the proper form, but he definitely has the Happy Gilmore form down on his putting stroke. What's sad is how few people on her get the reference or mentioned Happy Gilmore when they saw it and acted as if the putting stroke was unique.
I love the Happy Gilmore putt. That's how I would always start putting after I knew my round had gotten away from me. Which was basically every round by the start of thr second 9. The thing is I defijitely putt better that way, especially on putts inside of 10 feet. I dont know why i dont just do it all the time.
As an amateur golfer, the fact that you actually managed to HIT THE BALL (let alone sending it straight) with that swing on the drive is baffling. Remarkable, truly. But baffling
Why do you put the ball position for driver off your inner heal, and not on your toe or ahead of your front foot? I would imagine further up would be the ticket for maximum distance. I’m very curious 😅
You should try out River Oaks in cottage Grove or Clifton highlands in Prescott. They’ve got some nice course layouts. Wide open and forgiving fairways
I could just see it now if he was at a yuppy country club course. On 1st tee all the people around laughing at him about wearing 2 gloves. Then proceeds to break club record for longest drive ever on the course.
(If you care to understand some swing mechanics) Your grip is catered to your driver swing this results in your often chunky miss on balls off the turf Driver you hit up on, irons and especially wedges you hit down on because the loft is already built in the club “Let the club do the work” A strong right hand like yours makes your swing more efficient in hitting upwards off the tee, the trade off being more manual mechanical effort to hit down on the ball Suggestions (if you want to leave your ego at the door) -find a grip inbetween that lets you swing proficiently throughout the bag (lots of trial and error but that already comes with the game so just pick how you want to try and die) -have a driver specific grip -keep your grip and change your swing to hit down more and more with each club (this makes golf wayyyy harder and golfs already hard as fuck) It’s clear you got talent and prior experience in sports, I’d guess hockey based off the putting stroke. Ultimately it’s your game and every goat is a master at their own craft. So be you and be willing to try new things and develop and broaden your scope and use that god given talent to craft yourself into a damn good golfer which I whole heartedly believe you can be!

That wedge swing really shows that long driving and golf are 2 totally different sports. Golf is about flow, relaxing, allowing. Long driving is the opposite.
"Yeah I know, the greens bruh". Hahaha my man, EVERYONE was watching your putter grip waaay before the green
Or them white azz legs 😂
BAAHHAAAA 😂😂😂😂
I didn't notice anything but the grips

That grip. putter felt violated 😢
I have a friend who putts pretty well with that same grip. It works for some.
Happy Gilmore

Happy Gilmore at his first tournament vibes. Dude seriously needs put down the driver and work on quite literally everything else.

The Hungarian women’s volleyball team call and said they’re missing one of their uniforms
You cutting the videos before the ball stops is crazzzyyyy! That ball never stopped there from that putt.
I mean it absolutely did lmao. You can see the ball slowing to a stop. Cry more
Putts in a hockey stance, what a legend.
This chick can golf!
Bro slowed gravity on that shot tracer 💀
Totally fake
Ya my brain was telling me that ball was defying the laws of physics..
You putt like a hockey player lol
Bro took a texas sized divot and stepped the gaping chasm down
imagine bombing it 350 yards and only making par, gotta round that game out
He’s a long driver lol
1 in every 18 drives does that lol

Real life Happy Gilmore. Even putts like him. The only thing that is missing is the hockey stick putter.

Soon as I see someone set up a drive like that I dismiss their short game to sub par
Proof that short game is more important than long game. He has the distance to drive a par 4 but ends up with a par 😂

Idk why but I love it
The happy Gilmour put😂
Do you putt like that for engagement or is that just how you prefer to putt?

Advice to hit it longer?
"Next up is Happy Gilmore!"
Bro looking like Geoffrey the Giraffe with that iron and putter
(If you care to understand some swing mechanics)
Your grip is catered to your driver swing this results in your often chunky miss on balls off the turf
Driver you hit up on, irons and especially wedges you hit down on because the loft is already built in the club
“Let the club do the work”
A strong right hand like yours makes your swing more efficient in hitting upwards off the tee, the trade off being more manual mechanical effort to hit down on the ball
Suggestions
(if you want to leave your ego at the door)
-find a grip inbetween that lets you swing proficiently throughout the bag (lots of trial and error but that already comes with the game so just pick how you want to try and die)
-have a driver specific grip
-keep your grip and change your swing to hit down more and more with each club (this makes golf wayyyy harder and golfs already hard as fuck)
It’s clear you got talent and prior experience in sports, I’d guess hockey based off the putting stroke. Ultimately it’s your game and every goat is a master at their own craft. for the 60 you need to open your stance to the hole and bring your feet closer together. Should help eliminate the chunky shots.
