I had everything Mike had. Remembered it all like it was yesterday. My mom gave ALL, I MEAN ALL of my toys to the next door neighbors kids who were exactly like the Flanders kids Rod and Todd. I'm 41 now and I still will turn to my mom and say "what the fuck were u thinking?"

I hear about that shit every so often, i can't IMAGINE what it would do to a kid to find out your prized possessions apparently meant nothing to your parents. What lessons that would teach you about permanence and shit. Maybe you'd be better off, but I'm betting there's scars there.
worst I ever got was my dad would clean the house and things would just disappear.. including school textbooks

I feel you, when I was 16 or so, I came home from School one day, and my grandma told me she cleaned my room up a bit, threw some old stuff out. Turns out, that old stuff were ALL my Nintendo Power magazines, I had literally years worth of them, all already in the trash and carried away because it was freaking garbage day. Couldn't even save them. Still hurts a bit, to think I now never can just pull them out of some storage closet and read through them for the nostalgia.

Was very impressed by how they look exactly the same as in the original 1987 cartoon and how poseable they are. Besides, they're made of very high-quality plastics with metallic structure inside, feel heavy in your hand, unlike those flimsy 90s' toys. You can find them on Amazon but they're a bit on the pricey side -- now each costs $60~70 (rose from $50 each several years ago) and only the turtles are available. But trust me, you'll sure get a bang for your bucks.

I had most of these toys as a kid - very relatable. The fact that mike kept all the accessories and boxes is impressive, that's a goldmine!

I know why Bebop & Rocksteady were not in the movies. It is because by the time the movies came out, Bebop & Rocksteady were not intimidating villains. It wouldn't have worked for those clowns to be swinging the turles around & being so formidable. It isn't worth the special effects to just make two joke mutants.

This was a great walk down memory lane. I’m 32 I had the same figures as hand me downs. I was always jealous of my cousins becausethey always got a mass amount of the toys and the big sets I just got figures. I liked ghost buster toys more when I was a kid so I they were jealous of those of me. We always got together and played nicely though never any issues. Soon after that though it was all about resident evil and Pokémon.

I wish I had those as a kid. I only had the rock soldier, foot soldier, and a shit ton of turtles. I remember as was wanting more but the toy shelves were always almost empty. It’s like wwe action figures now, a bunch of John Cenas. Same with transformers beast wars, they’d have the wack ones but never the ones I wanted.

Eeeek! Remember that us girls who liked 80s TMNT generally *liked* April O'Neil...and were hoping the boys would grow up to want to rescue us chivalry-style...but I guess we have to settle for being anally-raped by Bebop's space gun?!?

Isn’t this video really old? Think that’s why it’s in 4:3 aspect ratio cuz it was from Cinemassacre website like 10 years ago. I remember watching vids on that website back in 2005-2006 era..

lol damn, dude. You didn't have to do April like that. Poor banana girl literally getting drilled in the ass.
As a kid, the only TMNT toys I owned were Donatello and Leonardo (despite Mikey being my favorite turtle). Leo got lost and Donny ended up losing one of his hands. Maybe my brother and I played too rough with them ha ha. These days, I casually collect classic action figures and have a few TMNT figures. When I saw the Rappin' Mikey at a flea market, it made me laugh because of how ridiculous it looked but, at the same time, there was no way I was going to pass up on it.

Even the TMNT knock-offs would still be better if LJN got a hold of these...But I had a question...I didn't see any of the turtles that you could push their head in and squeeze their legs to pop their head out. Also, I used to have Leo, Raph, Don & Mike but their bodies opened up and you could flip the parts around transform them into actual turtles Lol Holy shit, that was such a long time ago.

If I recall correctly, Tokka and Rahzar were compromises. The film people wanted to use Bebop and Rocksteady, but Eastman and Laird didn't like the characters. So they created Tokka and Rahzar as more serious alternatives.

I had this exactly same Shredder as a kid but I wasn't happy with this blue and purple colour.. My only TMNT reference was the cartoons, movies and video games.. not even sure where this Shredder colour came from.. anyway, my dad repainted it for me with silver paint and looked great.
