- Available online through EA's downloader service, Battlefield 2: Armored Fury is a booster pack for the multiplayer shooter Battlefield 2.
Battlefield 2: Armored Fury adds three new maps, all set in the rural heartland of America where the US forces defend their homeland from Chinese and MEC forces. This Booster Pack will also introduce two new vehicle classes: Attack Jets with the ability to use rocket pods and cluster bombs, and agile Scout Choppers which will reveal nearby enemies. "Midnight Sun" takes place on the Alaskan border, where Chinese forces make landfall. "Operation Harvest" will take the player to the vast open plains of Pennsylvania where only the expert use of air and armor will assure victory. "Operation Road Rage" sees all-out tank warfare on the freeways of America.

This was when you got a full expansion pack with guns, vehicles and all for about $7.50, that's how much I paid to get armoured fury in 2006

Tbf AF had no new weapons and only 2 new vehicles afaik. But it fits for Euro Force which had a brand new faction including all new weapons and vehicles.
@@gekko434 tbh the base games was just bigger in terms of vehicles/maps than any modern BF title
AF got 2 new types of vehicles, so 6 in total
My only complaint was the maps needed more armor.
Funny that the A10s were too close of the explosion and got damaged by it.

Also, the A-10s 30mm casings aren't ejected from the aircraft after they are fired.
Hahaha at 1:57 was a sound byte from Battlefield Vietnam! Nice easter egg! It's been a decade and I'm still finding new shit to love about the old parts of this franchise.

God, I miss when games were made to be fun.
Even tho the trailer is amazingly good, I still feel they didn't give Armored Fury a real trailer. Euro Forces and Spec Ops had a well produced trailer, with combination and camera angles.
Here we have a scene recorded during the gameplay, where the vehicles go through the camera, hit walls, even hit each other. Tanks shaking, a 8 seconds run just to show soldiers getting into a car because they didn't edit or made anything visually good. The chopper almost crashed twice and the angle the a10s were coming couldn't possibly hit the tanks, so they were literally shooting far away. The tank in the start pulling back was ridiculous. We dont even see he coming. And after all, the best scene in the trailer, the a10 carpet bombing, we all know what happened... The scene was perfect, however they crashed their wings and started smoking
They made a new, real trailer for Amored Fury in 2013, but isn't as good as this one, plus it's too late.
i dont hate this trailer, actually I love it, however they didn't do their best like the other bf2 trailers

bf2 modern combat was my first bf game
but bfbc was pretty much my first real experience with the series, fucking amazing games, all of them.
although i wish bf4 didn't crash every five fucking seconds.

It was glorious while it lasted though. Even got to play BF2142 again. Titans moving around large maps with minimal lag was awesome. Good times

Battlefield 2 has highest metacritic score in Battlefield series so it is still best Battlefield game ever. Also, people still play online with BF2Hub. (~300 online players in serverbrowser)

bery2001 you don't need to register them, they are included for free in the last patch. (only booster packs !)
