I am amazed at how he was able to stop at the end. The stones on the Great Wall are worn down and smooth. When it is foggy and wet they are slick, and he just slid to a stop without hitting the archway.
(that was super impressive but it wasn't the actual great wall - they were filming on a 4km replica built less than ten years ago in Nanchang)

@@antoinedeblangy3620 When I was a young kid my father was a touring musician (back in the 70s when it was still possible to actually make a good living off playing in a folk covers band) and had spent about 2 months pay on a new mixing desk. We where in the tour van and the guy driving collided into a wall. My dads first reaction was to jump up and say "SHIT!!! THE MIXING DESK". Us kids where like "How about SHIT! THE KIDS?". I didn't let the old man forget that until I was about 20 and spent $2K on a guitar, and then suddenly I *completely* understood lol

It's good to see the camera work that goes into shooting Candide's daredevil adventures. He makes the skiing on the Great Wall of China look easy, but in reality it must be really hard to do.

Salut Candide! je m'appelle Sage et j'ai 12 ans. Je skie depuis quatre ans. tu es une grande inspiration pour moi et mon plus grand rêve est de te rencontrer et de skier avec toi un jour! Mon autre plus grand rêve est de vivre dans les Alpes françaises quand je serai adulte. J'habite à Oakland en Californie et mon endroit préféré pour skier est Tahoe, je pense que vous y êtes déjà allé! J'ai travaillé très dur sur mon français parce que c'est ma langue préférée aussi parce que je veux vivre en France. le ski signifie tout pour moi et je veux le faire tout le temps! Je pense que je suis peut-être votre plus grand fan! J'ai suivi le nombre de fois où j'ai regardé toutes vos vidéos: quelques mots o regardé 4 fois tout au long, un de ces jours que j'ai regardé 6 fois, un de ces jours 2 j'ai warched 4 fois et un de ces jours 3 J'ai regardé 8 fois et tout le reste est d'environ 4 à 7 fois!
