So earlier this year I got this feeling that came over me as I was walking and then this conviction that this certain thing was going to happen. It was like thought popped into my head, but it was so loud it was practically audible. So I prayed and asked God more about it, asking for confirmation. Even asked him if this is going to happen, let this happen; if it's not going to happen, make this other thing happen. Neither one happened. LOL.

Someone I know is going through almost the exact thing! She wants to go to Bible College but she can't because of her physical health. She decided then to try to do it online. She said that God has spoken to her in the past and even still in the present that's its His will for her to do it. But her dad won't let her. He insists she finish her college studies then work in her career and maybe later on she can do it. Everytime she asks God if it's His will to do Bible College he says yes but her dad won't let her. So she wonders should she obey her dad since she still lives at home or should she disobey him and do Bible college?

My problem is if it is a problem. I am a Jamaican but since May of this year i have been living and working in the Bahamas. I have physical space and quiteness that i used to ask God for and i give Him thank for it. I have more time for the reading of the word getting revelations about the word, praying and fasting more, but what i need more is to hear the Holy Spirit speaking to me about what He wants to do through me. Am i wrong in wanting to hear from the Holy Spirit in such a way. I read a lot about the timers such Rees Howells, John G. Lake etc and see how the Holy Spirit directed their lifes and i am saying God why won't You talk to me like that. I get frustrated sometimes because of my preceived lack of not hearing from God in such a clear way. Any good response will be appreciated. Thanks.

People can’t be bothered to hear all their messages, from all over the Bible, because they’ve been brainwashed by the media as to what their messages are without actually hearing them out. All they can manage...quite like all they can read is 160 characters or less, so this is lost on such people...is a few soundbites completely taken out of context and edited by the media. The Bible says that he who decides a matter before hearing it (all) is a fool. It’s one of the biggest problems, dealing with people who don’t have all the facts but are more than happy to jump to conclusions anyway. I would never want them on a jury if I were accused of a crime. They wouldn’t even bother to hear all the facts they would just decide. It says much more about who they are than it does about the people they judge. Jessie, Cathy, Ken and Gloria teach more about praying and staying faithful to God, and trusting that God will get through to people, and so many other things than they do about prosperity and teaching anything about material abundance. It really does expose the people who criticize them as the people with no ears to hear that they are. You can’t help people as well if you’re in the pit with them as you can if you are above the pit and you reach your hand or a rope or other rescue device down to them... Especially if that pit is deep. God talks about spiritual blessings and material blessings both, and he considers them both to be very important. Hearing people argue about it is like watching a bunch of two-year-olds throwing a little temper tantrum, all standing at the edge of the ocean and arguing over who should have a drop of water and whether or not they deserve any at all. They don’t understand. They still don’t get it. God can supply an endless abundance to everyone on the face of earth. The idea of scarcity, is a Satanic lie. People think that if one person has more, that means everyone else has to have less, and that Satanic lie needs to be exorcised out of peoples heads. There’s no reason why God cannot see to it that everyone on the face of earth has the nicest house they could possibly want, right here on earth, not waiting for heaven, because nothing here could ever compare to Heaven. They still don’t understand that God truly is all-powerful, and it’s just as easy for God to provide a nice new car, or if you prefer, a good car in very good condition, as it is for him to supply a barely-running hunk of junk to pander to the “poverty gospel” crowd, who are deep in the sin of religious pride. It is their own refusal of His blessings, a false pride and a holier-than-thou attitude, as if being poor and ratty will somehow make them more godly, more holy. One could see deliberately remaining poor as some sort of works. It’s a twisted mindset that they can somehow earn being a better person by not receiving blessings from God in any material form. This mindset is… Arrogant and insane. What the media fails to mention and has never bothered to research is how many cars, planes, random cash to individuals, entire communities, and towns, emergency plane rides, and endless other acts of kindness both these men (and their wives) have given immediately upon the command of God, yes, even when they didn’t always yet have a replacement. Jesus tells the parable of the talents to explain that material gain is needed, even expected, as we live here in physical bodies, and when people can use the money responsibly, God will start funneling the money to those people if they will do his work. The wealth of the wicked is laid up for the just. God delights in making that shift... from funding the king of Satan. to funding the kingdom of God. Both these men and their wives have separate incomes and they don’t spend any of it from the ministries on themselves. In fact, they do not charge any appearance fees, and they pay their own expenses to travel to the places where they are invited to speak, whether to small groups or very large groups. They pay their own fuel their own hotel bills their own food. If they accept an invitation, they pay their own expenses for everything, from their PERSONAL accounts, not that of their own ministries. The critics of these two men wouldn’t dream of donating any of THEIR own time or income for travel expenses to go help anyone anywhere. They never see their own lack of giving to others as greed. Their idea of “generosity” is tipping 20% or maybe 22% for exceptional service, or giving two dollars to a homeless person or maybe a fiver if they’re feeling especially generous. They don’t give them consistently and they don’t understand the principles of giving. Their idea of “greed” is anyone who makes more money than they do and buys something for themselves rather than giving it to… People like the critics. God is looking for people willing to serve, and if they are willing to drop every other aspect of their lives and just go wherever God sends them whenever God sends them, God will reward that kind of dedication. Salvation cannot be earned, healing cannot be earned, but there are things that can indeed be earned. It is written in the Bible that one can earn a crown in Heaven, more than one, but also things here. Their religiousity likes to teach that God doesn’t reward people for any kind of work, but there are blessings over and above salvation and healing. They can also earn things here, so to speak. God will put money in the hands of people who will use it to serve Him. God has also extended the invitation to plant seeds in the fertile soil of the kingdom of God. But that still means it is fertile for you only when you when you planted willingly, cheerfully, and not grudgingly, and you don’t keep digging up the seed to see if it’s growing, and you don’t run out the next day to see if the fruit is ready to pick when you just planted it, and you don’t poison it with phrases like “this is never going to work”, but you don’t let other people do the same, and you don’t tell people who will, with their negative language, destroy your seeds, and then say “it didn’t work”. That’s kind of like giving someone some cough medicine which is starting a little bit of arsenic, and then when it kills the person, they say “it didn’t work“. They will blame the cough syrup for not working.

My problem with basing answers from circumstances is that there's not many people around making decisions based on God's will, or are doing things in Christ. Most people are influenced by the world through the media, playing into their flesh. I don't want to be tossed around by circumstances anymore, so I ask God instead. Sometimes I hear no answer because the answer is obvious, or that the answer is already present. But I still pray. Ask God for wisdom, and do not live in doubt. I guess the best solution is to know more about the problem you are facing, exhaust every angle, and find out which path to take that is both leading to what is good, preserves your peace, and are based on the principles of living in the Spirit of God. Also, it is important to examine ourselves where these "needs" and desires come from. If they come from the flesh, then it's best to be careful, and maybe pray for God to correct you of internal errors first. In anything, we should realize the basic things God wants for His children. First that they have joy, peace, and be in a communion of love. Next, He doesn't want us to focus too much on acquiring anything beyond what we need. Though we can surely do so, by serving others and more people, we shouldn't be focused on any form of greed, and so on, etc. The point is, to find first the priorities and desires of God for His children, and have that as an anchor. To seek higher things, than the lowly things of the world, so we can be spared from the constant pressure the world places on people, crushing them in the process.

My man was not working when he came to marry me, foolish me.. we were believing God to give him a job, so I pray " Lord if this union is your will, give my man a job before we marry. I don't know if I prayed amidst because the job did not show yet we got married. 3 years down the line was when he got something doing. But as I became born again inside the marriage, I begin to feel I don't have a future with him. Any advice please
It's so hard. I made the mistake of having premarital sex, but I told him (or maybe it was God speaking through me, not sure) that I would not have sex again until I was married. 10 years later, and he's still the only one I've been intimate with. We had a horrible falling out. I finally confessed that I loved him and I wanted us to try and eventually get married. He wasn't 100% against it but he still has so much anger and he still kept cursing me out. One day his heart would be softened then the next day, he was full of hatred. I pray to God about this situation and what will happen next between me and this person. I ask if he'll apologize as I already have, and if we'll ever get back together. God has yet to tell me yes or no. He told me not to worry about it. That's all He says about it so i must accept it. At first, I used to prevent myself from thinking about him. I used to tell myself that I had no expectations for him whatsoever and to accept that we'd never be together (I was repeating to myself what he said to me out of anger). But after all those harsh words, I still couldn't get him out of my heart and mind. So I prayed to God and asked if it's ok that I still think about him and still wonder about the "what ifs ": what if he did visit me? What if we did reconcile? God said it was ok but to not get obsessive about the situation and lose control and sight of Him as I had last time. In regards to love in general, God told me to keep reading my Bible, praying to Him, building my relationship with Him, and still going on dates and being open to meeting different males. So 5 months later, that is what I'm doing. I still think about my ex but I make sure to have that thought and just keep it moving. I also remind myself that, "Hey. This relationship could end on a bad note. We may never see each other again. He may never apologize ". It still kind of hurts being in this time of confusion but that's ok. I'll keep praying for guidance. Since I still think of this man, now I am praying to God to ask why did we meet. Was it all just a learning lesson or something bigger.

My problem is if it is a problem. I am a Jamaican but since May of this year i have been living and working in the Bahamas. I have physical space and quiteness that i used to ask God for and i give Him thank for it. I have more time for the reading of the word getting revelations about the word, praying and fasting more, but what i need more is to hear the Holy Spirit speaking to me about what He wants to do through me. Am i wrong in wanting to hear from the Holy Spirit in such a way. I read a lot about the timers such Rees Howells, John G. Lake etc and see how the Holy Spirit directed their lifes and i am saying God why won't You talk to me like that. I get frustrated sometimes because of my preceived lack of not hearing from God in such a clear way.

It worked for Cathy Duplantis. Neither of them were saved when they got married, although they did have a church wedding. Jessie was in Summer Wine, (he used a stage name), a rock band (in the 70’s). The rest here is only for the misguided people who see the names and love to hate on Jessie and Cathy, and Kenneth and Gloria, too, for that matter.
People can’t be bothered to hear all their messages, from all over the Bible, because they’ve been brainwashed by the media as to what their messages are without actually hearing them out. All they can manage...quite like all they can read is 160 characters or less, so this is lost on such people...is a few soundbites completely taken out of context and edited by the media.
The Bible says that he who decides a matter before hearing it (all) is a fool.
It’s one of the biggest problems, dealing with people who don’t have all the facts but are more than happy to jump to conclusions anyway.
I would never want them on a jury if I were accused of a crime.
They wouldn’t even bother to hear all the facts they would just decide.
It says much more about who they are than it does about the people they judge. Jessie, Cathy, Ken and Gloria teach more about praying and staying faithful to God, and trusting that God will get through to people, and so many other things than they do about prosperity and teaching anything about material abundance. It really does expose the people who criticize them as the people with no ears to hear that they are.
You can’t help people as well if you’re in the pit with them as you can if you are above the pit and you reach your hand or a rope or other rescue device down to them... Especially if that pit is deep.
God talks about spiritual blessings and material blessings both, and he considers them both to be very important.
Hearing people argue about it is like watching a bunch of two-year-olds throwing a little temper tantrum, all standing at the edge of the ocean and arguing over who should have a drop of water and whether or not they deserve any at all.
They don’t understand.
They still don’t get it.
God can supply an endless abundance to everyone on the face of earth. The idea of scarcity, is a Satanic lie. People think that if one person has more, that means everyone else has to have less, and that Satanic lie needs to be exorcised out of peoples heads.
There’s no reason why God cannot see to it that everyone on the face of earth has the nicest house they could possibly want, right here on earth, not waiting for heaven, because nothing here could ever compare to Heaven.
They still don’t understand that God truly is all-powerful, and it’s just as easy for God to provide a nice new car, or if you prefer, a good car in very good condition, as it is for him to supply a barely-running hunk of junk to pander to the “poverty gospel” crowd, who are deep in the sin of religious pride.
It is their own refusal of His blessings, a false pride and a holier-than-thou attitude, as if being poor and ratty will somehow make them more godly, more holy. One could see deliberately remaining poor as some sort of works.
It’s a twisted mindset that they can somehow earn being a better person by not receiving blessings from God in any material form.
This mindset is… Arrogant and insane. What the media fails to mention and has never bothered to research is how many cars, planes, random cash to individuals, entire communities, and towns, emergency plane rides, and endless other acts of kindness both these men (and their wives) have given immediately upon the command of God, yes, even when they didn’t always yet have a replacement.
Jesus tells the parable of the talents to explain that material gain is needed, even expected, as we live here in physical bodies, and when people can use the money responsibly, God will start funneling the money to those people if they will do his work.
The wealth of the wicked is laid up for the just. God delights in making that shift... from funding the king of Satan. to funding the kingdom of God.
Both these men and their wives have separate incomes and they don’t spend any of it from the ministries on themselves.
In fact, they do not charge any appearance fees, and they pay their own expenses to travel to the places where they are invited to speak, whether to small groups or very large groups.
They pay their own fuel their own hotel bills their own food. If they accept an invitation, they pay their own expenses for everything, from their PERSONAL accounts, not that of their own ministries.
The critics of these two men wouldn’t dream of donating any of THEIR own time or income for travel expenses to go help anyone anywhere.
They never see their own lack of giving to others as greed. Their idea of “generosity” is tipping 20% or maybe 22% for exceptional service, or giving two dollars to a homeless person or maybe a fiver if they’re feeling especially generous. They don’t give them consistently and they don’t understand the principles of giving.
Their idea of “greed” is anyone who makes more money than they do and buys something for themselves rather than giving it to…
People like the critics.
God is looking for people willing to serve, and if they are willing to drop every other aspect of their lives and just go wherever God sends them whenever God sends them, God will reward that kind of dedication.
Salvation cannot be earned, healing cannot be earned, but there are things that can indeed be earned. It is written in the Bible that one can earn a crown in Heaven, more than one, but also things here.
Their religiousity likes to teach that God doesn’t reward people for any kind of work, but there are blessings over and above salvation and healing. They can also earn things here, so to speak.
God will put money in the hands of people who will use it to serve Him. God has also extended the invitation to plant seeds in the fertile soil of the kingdom of God.
But that still means it is fertile for you only when you when you planted willingly, cheerfully, and not grudgingly, and you don’t keep digging up the seed to see if it’s growing, and you don’t run out the next day to see if the fruit is ready to pick when you just planted it, and you don’t poison it with phrases like “this is never going to work”, but you don’t let other people do the same, and you don’t tell people who will, with their negative language, destroy your seeds, and then say “it didn’t work”.
That’s kind of like giving someone some cough medicine which is starting a little bit of arsenic, and then when it kills the person, they say “it didn’t work“.
They will blame the cough syrup for not working.

Why would God communicate in a way that might be misinterpreted.
What if a person misunderstands the message, because it wasn't bluntly stated, and sins as a result. Who is at fault? Me, or the person (God) who didn't communicate effectively (placed a stumbling block before me).
I don't believe God communicates in this way. His way has always been direct, open, honest, and intentional. God doesn't mince words. He doesn't joke around or use sarcasm. Metaphors, certainly, but even a moron can understand those given enough time to sit and think. Say what you mean, and mean what you say. Teaching the opposite is to call God a hypocrite, isn't it?

My problem with basing answers from circumstances is that there's not many people around making decisions based on God's will, or are doing things in Christ. Most people are influenced by the world through the media, playing into their flesh.
I don't want to be tossed around by circumstances anymore, so I ask God instead. Sometimes I hear no answer because the answer is obvious, or that the answer is already present. But I still pray.
Ask God for wisdom, and do not live in doubt.
I guess the best solution is to know more about the problem you are facing, exhaust every angle, and find out which path to take that is both leading to what is good, preserves your peace, and are based on the principles of living in the Spirit of God.
Also, it is important to examine ourselves where these "needs" and desires come from. If they come from the flesh, then it's best to be careful, and maybe pray for God to correct you of internal errors first.
In anything, we should realize the basic things God wants for His children. First that they have joy, peace, and be in a communion of love. Next, He doesn't want us to focus too much on acquiring anything beyond what we need. Though we can surely do so, by serving others and more people, we shouldn't be focused on any form of greed, and so on, etc.
The point is, to find first the priorities and desires of God for His children, and have that as an anchor.
To seek higher things, than the lowly things of the world, so we can be spared from the constant pressure the world places on people, crushing them in the process.

God is not telling you to become a nun. Roman Catholicism is modern paganism. Get a King James Bible. Believe the true gospel to be saved and be born again (spiritually). It is that Jesus paid the price of our sins against God when he suffered and died on the cross. After that he was buried and he revived. Jesus said no man can come to the Father but by me.

It's so hard. I made the mistake of having premarital sex, but I told him (or maybe it was God speaking through me, not sure) that I would not have sex again until I was married. 10 years later, and he's still the only one I've been intimate with. We had a horrible falling out. I finally confessed that I loved him and I wanted us to try and eventually get married. He wasn't 100% against it but he still has so much anger and he still kept cursing me out. One day his heart would be softened then the next day, he was full of hatred. I pray to God about this situation and what will happen next between me and this person. I ask if he'll apologize as I already have, and if we'll ever get back together. God has yet to tell me yes or no. He told me not to worry about it. That's all He says about it so i must accept it. At first, I used to prevent myself from thinking about him. I used to tell myself that I had no expectations for him whatsoever and to accept that we'd never be together (I was repeating to myself what he said to me out of anger). But after all those harsh words, I still couldn't get him out of my heart and mind. So I prayed to God and asked if it's ok that I still think about him and still wonder about the "what ifs ": what if he did visit me? What if we did reconcile? God said it was ok but to not get obsessive about the situation and lose control and sight of Him as I had last time. In regards to love in general, God told me to keep reading my Bible, praying to Him, building my relationship with Him, and still going on dates and being open to meeting different males.
So 5 months later, that is what I'm doing. I still think about my ex but I make sure to have that thought and just keep it moving. I also remind myself that, "Hey. This relationship could end on a bad note. We may never see each other again. He may never apologize ". It still kind of hurts being in this time of confusion but that's ok. I'll keep praying for guidance. Since I still think of this man, now I am praying to God to ask why did we meet. Was it all just a learning lesson or something bigger.
