I am loving these pops of color! Very inspiring to me and my neutrals 😂 I really love the colors of your Tydes (sp?) Cardigan. It’s so perfect for spring and summer.
I am making a slipcover now and I prefer more neutrals for my vests but I think a blood orange vest would be stunning and a beautiful pop of color for any outfit. Great color choices for spring ❤❤❤
I guess I'm a classy gal too. Always using zip lock bags for my yarn. Love the Collette Tee- It's in my queue along with everything else in the world. lol Happy Spring. Kim
Glad to hear I’m not alone. HIGHLY recommend the Collett as an FO. The pattern is written in the Norwegian tradition (aka not much info), but she had really helpful videos in her instagram highlights to show how to set everything up.
I plan to make more cardigans as well. Another great striped sweater is the Sibling Sweater My Size by Laura Penrose. I am really into the blues and greens right now.
Thank you for lifting up my weekendknitting time. Its so enjoyable to hang out with you and hear your plans. The tyde cardigan and no9 OMG, for sure, both went into my LOVE patterns. For spring I will knit up a vest in the wave pattern for the Tyde, in white and blood orange. And yes am also totally into that color. And Hello to Hailey DAD and your wonderful cat
I’ve been envisioning the Tydes as a vest too!! I think you could do this with either the pullover or the cardigan actually. I think the white & blood orange would be gorgeous. Thanks so much for watching and I’ll give Georgie a pet for you!
Hi from the UK. I Just wanted to thank you so much for mentioning Garntopia in your last podcast. I immediately checked them out and ordered some Sandnes Garn to make the Artisane cardigan as well as a couple of pattern booklets. The order arrived from Norway to me in the UK within 2 days (!!!!) and everything was perfect. They even included some little heart shaped sweets. Even though the shipping was quite substantial the overall cost was significantly less than I would have had to pay for the same yarn in the UK - also no customs duties or extra VAT to pay (as long as you stay below £135.00). I'll definitely be buying from them again as they have such a great selection of scandi yarns, which are often either difficult to find or much more expensive from UK sellers . Thank you again for the recommendation
I did the same here in the US. I bought some Rauma Garn Finnul in a multitude of colors to make a blanket. It was here in 4 days and so much less expensive than in the States. Love your podcast. I am a new viewer. ❤❤
I’m loving the pops of color! I’m always drawn to red garments and accessories, but am never bold enough to finally go for it. The one red garment I ever started knitting is currently sitting in my WIP graveyard. 😅 Can’t wait to see how the spring wardrobe unfolds! ❤
Hey Hailey, take a look at Melody Hoffman’s Linden Cardigan. It’s perfect! It has texture, it’s a drop shoulder and the button band is knitted along the way. I wear mine ALL THE TIME! ~ Gina from the Cincti meetup:)
I am knitting the Wool and Berries by Joji Locatelli. I am using a very dark Navy Blue with your clover color for the stripes with gold buttons on the shoulders for a nautical look. Great content as usual!
Love the buttons on the shoulder. I’ve seen this detail quite a bit recently. It’s something I’d like to try for sure. Thanks for watching, Elizabeth!!!
I am just finishing my second Vee neck Stockholm vest. Sadly it is a dark tweedy winter color. It is my final winter knit. As soon as it is completely finished, I will cast on another vest (maybe different pattern) first string. I also knit the Burgos vest. Because our winters are so mild (coastal NC) I see more vests in my future. I really love the Caine and that may be my next project.
Hi from Tromsø. It's still winter, spring is not arriving until may. I am thinking about springknits and like your ideas. I'm going to finish my winter wips before going through my stash to find colours for spring.
Maybe check out the Emsworth vest by Isabel Kraemer! I just finished mine in Purl Soho Good Wool, and it is such a wonderful pattern and a beautiful finished product! A fun knit!
Hi Hailey! I am currently knitting the Garden Cardigan by Ankestrick in Holst Garn Coast in black... maybe this could be considered springy since it's a cotton/wool blend yarn and a lacy pattern? I have been wanting a versatile cardigan in black for a while. I'm planning to knit the Marysia Cardigan by Aleksandra Solowianiuk, too. So far, I am very impressed with the Garden pattern - the construction is interesting and elegant, it seems to be knitting up fast, and I can't wait to wear it. I have knit a couple of other cardigans by Ankestrick and wear them a lot (especially her Little Love - love it!) My other favorite cardis are by Isabell Kraemer: Don't Ask is my best fitting shoulder, and Mariechen is also lovely. I want to knit all the cardigans!
I have also had a classic black cardi in my head and a whole cone of Holst Super Soft to one day bring that into being! 😆 Thanks for the pattern rec’s. I will definitely check them out!!

Great video! I was beginning to think I was the only way that felt that way about raglan cardigans
Petite knit have some great vest patterns

Thanks, Taci!!! I also normally stick with neutrals but I’m thinking it will be fun to switch it up. We’ll see what I end up with!

I feel like cardigans have definitely been a gap in my wardrobe. The Sibling is a great pattern!
Colour wise, Im loving cobalt blue at the moment. Im usually a neutrals person too.

The Burgos is very nice! I agree… For me vests are just so versatile! Need more of them!
Love the blue for stripes! It looks great with your coloring. Go for it!
Thanks, Cheryl!! I’m thinking maybe the Farnham Tee. I think I’d have just enough to make it work!

Hello!! Yes, I was there at the end of April last year. You had a snow while we were there! But it’s so beautiful, it is worth the late Spring!!
Maybe check out the Emsworth vest by Isabel Kraemer! I just finished mine in Purl Soho Good Wool, and it is such a wonderful pattern and a beautiful finished product! A fun knit!
Thank you!! I will check it out!
Check out the Mika Slipover by Genievre Dugon. It has feminine details on the shoulders. I love it!
This is so pretty. I feel like maybe Marie Ève from In Her Skein has knit this.
