    Absolutely wonderful explanations! The drawings in real time with the description of everything and what it does and why is so high caliber that even with absolutely no prior knowledge I feel that I have a good grasp on the lymphatic system and could explain it easily to someone else which is the true indicator that someone has grasped a concept. Thank you so much Dr. Campbell I look forward to checking out your other videos and yes I absolutely subscribed!! Fantastic job!!

    Hello Dr. John, Thank-you so much for all of your excellent education. At the 1.55 point of this video you mention that the average diameter of a lymph node is 10-15cm I believe you mean mm.

      Thanks Victoria, probably someone in a bad mood. There are weirdos out there as well of course who are into some strange beliefs and do not like science and evidence.

    My young adult daughter has had swollen lymph glands in her neck and armpit on one side (right) for a week, she has white spots on her throat but not painfull, she has had 2 covid vaccines, should we worry? I worry, she has been healthy all her life

    What happens if i remove an enlarged lymph node? Do the regenerate?

    • @Campbellteaching
      @Campbellteaching  5 лет назад

      No, but if you just take one, the other nearby should be able to cope. If you take too many the area drained becomes swollen with tissue fluid.

      Is there a way to drain them without surgery when they are hard? Thank you for answering

      @@Djdiegolarumba depends why they are hard, if its cancer you could sometimes use chemotherapy, if infection antibiotics are a possibility.
