I think BoJ made a stunning makeup base on you. I have combo skin and I always set this one with powder whether I'm wearing makeup or not. I agree about the moisture build up for reapplication. I haven't tried this in dry winter air yet so maybe this will be the perfect option then.
thank you for this review video! i have been really wanting to buy this suncreen and didnt know much about it. Thank you so much again for making this video!
I only trust your record because we have very similar skin, down to the nose sensitivity 😂. I also live in LA so heavy reapplication doesn’t work for me.
I have light (but not porcelain), warm-toned, dry-leaning, non-sensitive, non-acne prone skin and I live in a humid climate. (Gotta preface every skin review with that, lol.) For me BOJ has quite a nice, medium-moisturizing, non-glowy finish but I do find that the third application is usually a little less elegant, even as I wear my sunscreen on just a bare face almost every day. Also, while I’m fair enough that it’s not a standout, I do notice a little bit of fine fine white buildup from I assume the tinosorb m, after multiple applications.
At this point I don't even stress about the ratings anymore. I'm just going to trust what the packaging says until something comes out about it being wrong... that goes for all sunscreens
I bought 2 tubes n I wanted to cry so much initially, as upon my very 1st application it burned like hell. Well I use actives (lots of actives aha, retinol etc) at night. Because it was so hyped and I bought 2 tubes, I had to re-try using it, did with lesser actives and with calming serums... Still burned on my 2nd application (meaning next day). I decided to not apply on my undereye which is where it was worse and used my physical sunscreen there (Axis-y) and used boj on the rest of my face incl the eyes. Third day I decided to give it a try again without anything on my skin and bam it didn't burn at all. Tried again day 4 with my morning routine and it didn't burn anymore. I now use it with my actives etc ( night routine actives and morning routine serums). I love everything about it. Reapplication during the day is still perfect. I'm not sure why it burned initially but now it's my chemical sunscreen holy grail. I'm combination dry adult acne prone skin and Mac Nc45 skin tone... I still add a moisturizer with it, it's perfect for me❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I'm glad you figured out a way to make it work for you! Thanks for sharing such a detailed response!!! Hopefully other people with similar skin types/concerns will find this helpful 😊
this was very helpful, currently using trentinoin & just ordered two tubes as well. bc of ur comment i will be trying to use it both ways! (half & half maybe haha)
Hey I am on retinol ( prescription tretinoin) and chemical sunscreen are not advised for people on acides etc. You may want to bite the bullet and start search for a physical/mineral sunscreen. I was stubborn and after months my face started itching nonstop :(
stopp bc i was just about to buy 2 tubes too and i also use actives 😭😭😭 this comment saved me but ugh this really seemed like a great one i just want one that’s thin non greasy and doesn’t sting my eyes is that too much to ask for?😭
My go-to has been Cosrx Aloe vera sunscreen but it was out of stock so I ordered this one yesterday and will see how it goes. My t zone is oily but hope it would work pretty well on my skin.
@@benenon I actually don't like it at all for my skin type. Been using it for 3 days and was trying to like it but I'll stick to my COSRX sunscreen. It's too oily and leaves a white cast on my face so I can't use it without makeup on, you were on point in your review so thank you.
Thanks for the review. In the attempt to rub in the sunscreen that settles in the creases will result in skipped areas. I definitely won't be buying this. Thanks for the headsup.
I use the Biore SPF watery essence, but I'm looking to get a new sun screen because it unfortunately contains fragrance and alcohol. Not good for my already dry skin.
Hi Benenon. What do use on your lashes to make them look that good?? please show us how you brush them or what u apply to them. or maybe they are short extensions?? or maybe just good genes. lol .. pplease for a video
Thank you! People rave hardddd, but it always looks a little too shiny on others for me! I think there are better Asian options.
I agree! Save this one for people with dry skin that like to shine lol

Agreed! Loved how it looked with makeup. Hopefully it works better for you in the winter 🤗
I love this sunscreen but my skin isn’t oily and I’m older so I love the way it makes my skin looks. I get compliments on my skin when I wear it.
Thanks for sharing your experience!
Thank you for reviewing, I'm thinking about trying it

Off topic, but I'm kind of skeptical about the pa rating for skin aqua rich spf 50

But how does it do against the sun like how protecting is it ???

Right. Reason why I don't like it. Shiny, white residue

I think I'll pass on this one, I use biore spf50 watery essence which is the same size but it doesn't collect in any creases.

Talking about crusty skin. It's dry AF in the mountains and we feel like lizards
What make-up did/do you use? Thanks😊
I will do an updated routine soon
My skin hates niacinamide. I’m glad I haven’t bought this sunscreen
This and the Isntree Aqua Sun Gel are overhyped as fuck.
I kinda liked the isntree one more... but yes very hyped in the skincare community
Apply sunscreen on your ears and eye lids too lady.
lol you’re so right. I always forget my ears!! I usually grab a mineral sunscreen for my eyes off camera 😊

honestly just good genes 💅 and a bit of regular mascara
You might have put too much on your face and you could benefit from a chemical toner and a retinoid
I thing you have loot of dark patches around your mouth...it work for my skin..before try ask some skin care doctor..glycoiic acid creeam 6%w/w...
