Never see anyone using it on the not heavily stocked lakes i fish to be honest i hate the stuff but it seems to work on commercials is this because they are heavily stocked!!
Sweetcorn can work on low stocked venues, it's a bait most fish will eat any time of the year. Personally, I think it takes someone to have a good days fishing using sweetcorn to gain confidence in this bait. Regards, Steve.

I love corn for summer fishing for roach on stillwaters. I feed hemp very positively and feed 5-10 grains of corn per cast.
