@@christtel1484 I think it's probably a bit of both, as there can't really be a human with Miku's proportions. So a straight motion capture wouldn't work from a normal proportioned human to Miku's anime proportions. They probably have to edit, fine tune and animate quite a bit of the motion to make it fit right.
I thought showing up 2 hours before would be fine and then realised I was sadly mistaken. Ended up two thirds towards the back of the theatre and no merch left to buy as everything sold out. Next time, I'm definitely queuing much earlier. What a great show though!
I went to Dallas in 2018, I showed up around 2, so 5 hours before the concert. I was right behind the vip pit. I'm going in Chicago (I live in Illinois so it's more convenient.) So I would do at least a few hours before the concert.

What I love about this video is the venue, oh to see Miku at the best place in town Brixton Academy, the live band are slaying it. The reflection of the crowd and the folks waving their glow sticks in the foreground are just wonderful. And then it ends with a beutiful bit of gratitude 'Thank You London' Thank you cakey for posting.

I don't know why people criticize these kinds of shows: "yOu Pay To SeE a HoLoGrAM", I mean c'mon, this is like watching an animated movie at the cinema, reading a book or playing a videogame. You spend money in those things, the characters are not real but it's part of many people's enjoyment and fun. The sad part of these Vocaloid concerts is that not so many people are aware that behind all this exist musicians, producers, animators and others that spend a lot of their time and effort to make great things like this

ok this video is old so op (or anyone that can help me) if you're seeing this hi!!!! i have a question. how'd you get the video quality so good? like in all the other footage of this concert the saturation and brightness is like super high which means you cant really see the facial features of the cryptonloids so how did you manage to avoid that? did you just lower the brightness before you started filming? ty in advance
Sorry just seen your comment!! It was recorded on a Galaxy Note 8, and honestly it's really difficult to record these concerts no matter what phone you have. But yes, I found that throwing the brightness(?) way down when recording really helped, as it helped bring out the details and stop them getting washed out :)
