About Lies of P:
Lie or Die... Inspired by the familiar story of Pinocchio, Lies of P is an action Souls-like game set in the dark, Belle Époque-inspired city of Krat. Once a beautiful city, Krat has become a living nightmare as deadly puppets run amok and a plague sweeps the land. Play as P, a puppet who must fight his way through the city on his unrelenting journey to find Geppetto and finally become human. Lies of P presents an elegant world filled with tension, deep combat and character customization systems, and a gripping story with interesting narrative choices where the more lies told, the more human P becomes. Just remember: in a world filled with lies, no one can be trusted.

Legit one of my favorite cutscenes
Of all time ? That’s abit mad
I cannot express how awesome a cutscene this is. Literally the most stylized and badass cutscene I've ever seen. It perfectly encapsulates the aesthetic and atmosphere the game is going for. The game as a whole has a great sense of identity. It knows what it's trying to be and it succeeds at it in every possible way.
Same melody.
First It's heroic and hopeful.
Then It's Horror and Despair.
Always appreciate little nuances like that
so happy i'm not the only one who noticed
Its the facade of a
Utopia that hides a terrible truth.
As a souls fan, this is probably my favorite of any of the soulsBourne cutscenes ever.
It’s vague enough to leave you wanting more, but gives you just enough to understand what’s happening.
This isn't a soulsborn game....it's developed by Neowiz games and Round 8 studios...souls games are developed by fromsoftware 😂 you'd think a "souls fan" would know that a soulsborn game means that fromsoftware actually developed the game....🤦♂️
@@oni_370z2 when I say Soulsborne I meant, it’s LIKE Dark Souls not that it’s made by FromSoft.

@lsheltothewanderer8883 then you should have wrote "soulslike" not "soulsborn" it's already bad enough everyone refers to any game that's remotely challenging as soulslike now people just be calling everything soulsborn for the fuck of it too now... I guess what does it matter if not you, then someone else out there will say the same shit 🤷 soulsborn was used to describe from software games that didn't have souls in the title. Eg: Sekiro, Elden Ring, Armored Core, Bloodbourne...
@lsheltothewanderer8883 soulslike is for similar games hence the word LIKE and soulsborn was used to describe games born from the souls series hence the word BORN, I guess this all too much for people to comprehend nowadays 🤷

It's actually kinda impressive how well they mixed the 2D and 3D elements of this opening.
bro the composers for this game went full throttle. the music throughout is amazing
the style of this simple cutscene is amazing, the art, how gradient, colors, how they choose to pick only few colors able to pull our eyes to point of interest, like blue ergo mine, red eyes that showed the first time puppet frenzy triggered. damn the chills man

At least you see what the place looked like before the Puppets went Crazy. Also at the same time this cut scene sets up why you are fighting against puppets. Also this intro Gets you interested in the mystery? Why are they doing this?
