I wasn't sure how to word it, its a feeling, i feel too much stupid for this to work for me. I try to love brent but hes fuckin dumb as shit so its like I'm watching a 6 year old tell a story where most things are not real, some is made up, lies left and right, no facts maybe facts who knows? its a really odd feeling.
the thing about Bert's forced laughter - he started doing that after Tom almost died laughing from him drinking coolaid, then he saw how much feedback that clip got, and now he is using it consciously. He laughs naturally, but he forces that "dying of laughter" way to much now, and Its a conscious effort, not natural.

I miss the pandemic when we would get Bert and Tom every week talking about topical things. Now the only time they are together they talk about things that happened a month ago because they were filmed so far back.
Yup! YMH itself is trash now too. They bank those months in advance. They never got to address stuff like Saget's death or Norm because it would've been 6 weeks ago by the time they caught up and released the episode
Agreed with both comments here. Podcasting became too much of a cash cow for them so they just bank the episodes and then go on tour make a bunch of cash at the same time. Great for them. Sucks for the fans
@@officialshakeymusic EXACTLY. Tom already acted like an entitled douche before he totally blew up and even Bert admits they both want to be billionaires (for different reasons). Nothing wrong with that as they've earned it, yet like any favorite bands they get really big and full of themselves, inevitably they start to lose what initially made them great.
It took Bert 40 minutes to realize how Adam knew John Goodman after he mentioned him in the first few minutes

My favorite part of the podcast is where Bart has to take a breathe, or tries to remember someones name, and shuts the fuck up for more than .5 second. Then you actually get to hear Adam talk.
Worked with a gross old man. We shared first time stories. His was with a friend's mother, she was old and real gross. His details haunt me. He acted like he loved it and I just remember laughing and telling him he was molested.
