Please do another video about more of those taupe bronze shadows. Especially from mainstream brands because it's hard for me to get American indie brands in India. I'd love both singles and shades within palettes. My ultimate favourite is still Paris from the Anastasia Mario palette. Thank you, Lauren!
I second this! Her last video made me bust out my Hourglass Scattered Lights in Smoke again. Also I picked up Dior Beige Mitzvah from recommendations in the comments and I can confirm that shade is ridiculously gorgeous!
I LOVE speed/roundup reviews! It's actually my favorite, especially when they have high, mid, and drugstore items. Personally, it doesn't even have to be all new stuff, either. I pass loads of products in Ulta, Sephora and drugstores that I know nothing about. They've probably been there for years but I can't keep up with every freaking product 🤷🏻♀️ Great video!
Omg wet pebble is TO DIE FOR! Ima need that for sure, and I’d love an updated minky taupey shadow video! Those are my go to, easy everyday one shadow looks and I can’t get enough of them
Ooh, a highlighter video would be awesome-as a lady of a certain age, I am on the lookout for a very specific set of qualities. You are so good at detailed descriptions.
These videos are super helpful! I think we all know how enamoured one can be with a new product only to go back to a tried and true favourite once it isn’t shiny and new anymore.
Lauren, when are you gonna come out with a collab?! I would love to see you create a palette with those beautiful sparkly shadows and ofc some taupes! I hope we get to see one soon, and I’d 100% pick it up (if any brands read this!!!)
I'm so happy that Half Caked is sending you some makeup! They really have great cream blushes & bronzers. It is a formula that can initially feel "sticky" but I use a dense brush and once it's blended into the skin it just leaves a gorgeous natural sheen and nice even color. Their lip formulas are surprisingly fantastic too. I dunno how they r doing it but they're doing some really good things over there.
Totally enjoyed this. Watched the entire thing in multiple sittings. I love how you swatch and try on things as you talk about them, and your knowledge base is seriously stellar!
I just saw Annette' s video in this format. I looove this format. I don't own any of these items. Last thing I picked up was a Red Lipstick Sephora brand #96 and I LOOOOVE IT. Just what I was looking for a RED that doesn't look Orange on my brown skin. I love the short concise reviews and the length. Thank you Lauren
I LAUGHED when you opened that half caked pallete near the end! It's something I would TOTALLY purchase if not for the polly pocket packaging! (and I like Polly pocket!) But going for a grunge look and getting the cutesy pallete out is so NOT for the mood I'd be in, even if the inside matched my idea!
I’ve only been watching your videos for a few months and after seeing you hype so much about the pat mcgrath highlighter, I looked up to see if you had done a review on the bridgerton ones and i have to say, i absolutely adore you with pink hair!! great video as always ☺️
Dupe Alert for a couple shades from the PM bronze pallet!!! Sephora Collection single eyeshadows in Shock Choc and To The Moon And Back. A surprise, definitely. Thank me later. I love the Pat McGrath five pans for holiday because they are neutral enough to use all day every day without too much thought. I always pass on holiday pallets full of green and red or frosty blue that I know might not be long-term useful.
confession: I have that pat mcgrath highlighter from the previous launch and haven’t been able to make myself use it because the embossing is so beautiful! knowing there’s a new version actually makes me feel better about using the one I have, weirdly.
Hi Lauren, Roen Stick Highlighter reminded me of Nars Albatross (Icy white with a warm hint when blended) I found it very elevated and elegant on my light/medium skin.
Hi, Lauren! I watched Gigiz Beauty’s video on the CT Pop Shots, and she swatched Emerald Eyes against MAC Ho Ho Hocus! from last year’s, and they seem to be identical dupes. I own the MAC ones, so I went and swatched them, and now I’m wondering if Cosmic Rocks has a dupe in MAC Prrrplexing!. I also swatched Clionadh Azure, and I guess it looks sheerer, but still similar. Finally, I wonder how similar CT Rose Gold is to JDGlow Rose Goals, which I own. All this to say, I may not need to get any of those shades from CT, except Smoky Quartz. I’ll be waiting for your video tomorrow to see your comparisons ❤ And man, those MAC eyeshadows are sooooo underrated! I’m so so so happy that I got them last year 😍 Would you be interested in getting this year holiday collection MAC’s singles? They don’t look as magnificent, but I’m very curious.
I love these type of videos. First impressions are good and all but these videos are what I trust and use to purchase items. Because there is always those products that you might love at first but then using them for a week or two- thoughts change.
I find with the color pop highlighters and bronzers in the super shock formula that I need to use a dual fiber brush and put it on in a stippling motion for it to get the color pay off that I’m looking for. But when you do that i find that they are beautiful.
Loved that silvery, smokey eye look you did in that previous video (2:38) and i wondered what you used. It was just beautiful! Makes me want that palette now 😆
I have been quite literally obsessed with Juliette has a gun pear inc since early springish I think. I just can't quit it. It's very hard to describe imo and I don't get pears at all, but it is intoxicating.
I love Half Caked! I’ve tried their eyeshadow palettes, Lip Fondants, Lip Glazes, and Candy Paints. I’m so glad they are sending you PR. They’re so underrated and I’d love to see and hear about more people using them!
You look GORGEOUS! I’m going to try to replicate your look today! I have last year’s PML Highlighter and I do love it. I passed this year because they are so close, if not the same! But I did buy the new blush, which I love! Your videos are the BEST! Just keep being and doing YOU!
I loooove last year's PM holiday highlighter, it's been my most used thru the year by far. I have the new one as well but have only worn once and swatched, but imo it IS quite a bit more sparkly/glittery than the former. It is a nice fine sparkle that isn't unflattering, but I still think my preference will lean towards last year's...and yeah, the big gold compact was wayyyy better.
Just give it up okay? You cannot do speed reviews *and* that’s ok because we looooove it! 😂 I would also love it if you were to take a deep dive into these mid-range brand. ‘Cuz there’s no way I can pay for the luxury brand and can’t enjoy high end only once in a blue moon.
I still have those 5pans by Pat McGrath that look like they are in sample cases😂 I kind of love them tho. I think you swatch multichromes the best of everyone I watch. I wish I could swatch them better. I am glad you talked about those Charlotte singles because they were something I was eyeing and if you’re not raving, I might pass. You also speak to fragrance so well. You make me wanna buy them all 😂 I could do a video on what Lauren influenced, lol That half caked palette is strange, lol. That packaging is so deceiving. Their lip fondants are nice!
💯 recommend this way too, sun coast is beautiful for adding a teeny bit of warmth and a banging glow I dont like intense bronzers for no makeup makeup days, so bronzino is perfect for my combo dry skin
The Tower 28 bronzer was definitely a slow burn product for me…I hated it at first but now I love it. I have 2 shades, best coast and west coast, and I use them more of a bronzer topper then just my lone bronzer. Using just a little leaves the prettiest finish :)
I got a glow stick thing from Ciate London few yrs back from Ipsy. I love that wet look but wish it dried down a bit. I never got rid of it but still don’t really use it because not such how to use it. It does look pretty on back of my hand tho. I swatch it all the time. Lol
You lied it was a quick video but I'm glad it isn't 😂 While watching this video I realized I enjoy your content so nkw I'm subscribed. Tha PMG highlighter comparisons was good. Glad I know I don't need the new one since I have the previous one.
I had been wanting the LH Shimmer Saga and Daybreak palettes and after you showed off the Shimmer Saga, I decided next sale I was buying it. She had her birthday sale and I bought both palettes and I’m obsessed! I feel so Midnights era when I wear them! 💙
It looks like the five pans are going to be a more regular thing. Her next launch has a few as well . (I'm drooling over the r2d2 one!! Such fun colors)
Love the Pretty Precious colors and price of the eye shadow. Thank you😊 all my eye shadow is so old. I need to start over on my collection. Get some creamy stuff.
Oh my god I saw the PMG quint in the thumbnail on the ❌️ side and I gasped!! I was like oh NO does Lauren hate them 😥 I was so sad cause they're my favorite holiday release of any brand this year by far, glad it was a false alarm LOL
Yeah ColourPop still has 2 brow pencils. I like the other one that's creamier. It draws hairs in on skin better than the waxier one. I think the exact one is the brow boss and the other is the precision brow pencil.
On the Dior compact are you supposed to contour and blend all four colors? They are beautiful colors. Would love to see you try that. You're very pretty young lady. I'm 57 and want to try boom and or bayfree.
I absolutely love your videos, especially your singles/palette building. I love your makeup style too, so trust your reviews. But the 'I don't think they're a must-have', let's be real...none of these things are a must-have. A lot of viewers might only be able to afford/want to buy one or two makeup items a month, so won't be shopping in this way; looking at multiple things from every brand's new collection
I didn’t get last years holiday highlight from Pat and the one from this year arrived todayyyyyyy. I can’t wait to use it!! I was so sad I missed last years 😢
We need to have a talk with the designers of the pretty precious palette. 😂 where is the cohesion. Ughhhhhh that Pat highlighter is almost getting me that pan embossing aka the least functional component of it is caaaaallling to me.
The color Smokey Quartz reminds me of Mushroom from Urban Decay. That taupe smokey sooty grey color. I really wanted Smokey Quartz but now I’m like oh I think I have the dupe already. 😂
Love your eye look and your reviews! What eyeshadow did you use on your eyes today? I'm always looking for eye looks with a vibrant lippie. Thank you! :)
Hey Lauren just wanted to let you know that the Donna in the Born in Roma perfume name simply means woman as in this is the woman's version. Donna means woman and is pronounced donah more like donor. There's a mens version as well which says uomo which just means man.
The cp brow pencils are excellent. There are two versions of their pencils, one is a little thicker (the one you have/showed) & one that's super skinny. The super skinny one was my hg brow pencil for years & it took me forever to find something comparable! The pencils from billion dollar brows are exactly the same! There's also way more product in the tube than the cp pencils. I found I was going through the cp fast so I screwed it all the way out while brand new & there's very little product in there 🙃
Omg Lauren Half Magic doesn't have the wet pebble single☹️ Sooooo looking forward to your video comparing similar Taupey shades🥰🥰🥰 My favorite shade to wear♥️♥️♥️
Please do another video about more of those taupe bronze shadows. Especially from mainstream brands because it's hard for me to get American indie brands in India. Ahh yes! Here for that!
@@bethanyrradke I just got Dior Beige Mitzvah too and it is indeed glorious.

I pass loads of products in Ulta, Sephora and drugstores that I know nothing about. They've probably been there for years but I can't keep up with every freaking product 🤷🏻♀️
Great video!
It's quite all right to give more details in your "speed" reviews 😊 I don't think anyone minds!!
Omg wet pebble is TO DIE FOR! Ima need that for sure, and I’d love an updated minky taupey shadow video! Those are my go to, easy everyday one shadow looks and I can’t get enough of them

I love the mink-taupe browns! I’d love to see another video on those!
Lauren, when are you gonna come out with a collab?! I would love to see you create a palette with those beautiful sparkly shadows and ofc some taupes! I hope we get to see one soon, and I’d 100% pick it up (if any brands read this!!!)
I'm LOVING the red lip! So pretty. I always appreciate an in depth review. Thanks!
Thank you so much!! I hope the reviews are helpful!! 😊
@@LaurenMaeBeauty I loved the red lip look, but was sad to see the formula wasn't good.

I love a taupe shimmer/ satin shade with a colourful Eyeliner! It is just beautiful ❤

Yes, please do a video duping out the Charlotte Tilbury single shadows!
Yes to more taupes and also to these round-up videos:)

I’m loving the Sephora single shadows. I’ve been really impressed with the quality.
confession: I have that pat mcgrath highlighter from the previous launch and haven’t been able to make myself use it because the embossing is so beautiful! knowing there’s a new version actually makes me feel better about using the one I have, weirdly.
Yay!! Always love your chatty videos
❤️❤️❤️
Hi Lauren, Roen Stick Highlighter reminded me of Nars Albatross (Icy white with a warm hint when blended) I found it very elevated and elegant on my light/medium skin.
VB beauty Mink pot eye shadow is a spot on dupe for the CT smoky quarts. In case you want some one pot eyeshadow that looks like it in the future :)
Your all shimmer eye looks have really inspired me to play with my makeup more, which is so great since I haven't worn makeup much since I gave birth.
I absolutely love this type of video it's so helpful!

Keep this style of video in your rotation. My daughters and I enjoy several of the Half Caked products, I hope you will as well.
I have all the half magic shadows and glamourust is the same formula as wet pebble!

I have been quite literally obsessed with Juliette has a gun pear inc since early springish I think. I just can't quit it. It's very hard to describe imo and I don't get pears at all, but it is intoxicating.
So good and such an easy reach! Day/night/warm/cold.. works for every occasion 💙
I totally freaking agree-but I tend to not like the regular Juliette has a gun. Just the pear
Ive never purchased Pat Mcgrath but that silver and black look! 🔥!
I love Half Caked! I’ve tried their eyeshadow palettes, Lip Fondants, Lip Glazes, and Candy Paints. I’m so glad they are sending you PR. They’re so underrated and I’d love to see and hear about more people using them!

Try the tower 28 bronzer lightly on "no makeup" days in the summer, lends itself well to bare skin and gives just a hint of some warm glowy color
💯 recommend this way too, sun coast is beautiful for adding a teeny bit of warmth and a banging glow
I dont like intense bronzers for no makeup makeup days, so bronzino is perfect for my combo dry skin
You look knockout here! I love that lip on you too!
Oooooo the candy paints cream blushes from half caked are *chefs kiss
Yes please do everything Taupe and grungy looking 🤩
I love that you love single shadows and potted shadows. That is direction I have been heading and how I found your channel btw.

Great video. I loved the “speed rounds”.
Half Magic eyeshadow single in Glamourust is the same formulation as Wet Pebble. I think you'd like it!
The lip ! It looks so good on you !

This makeup is FIRE
Thank you for the Pat mcgrath highlighter comparison! I have year's version so im good!
Nothing could have prepared me for the shadows in that HC palette 😂

I want the green ct eyeshadow so bad but I just cannot justify that for a single. But boy if it goes on sale I’m def gonna snatch it right up!💚
Half Caked has a gorgeous stick highlighter that is truly stunning!!
We need to have a talk with the designers of the pretty precious palette. 😂 where is the cohesion.
Ughhhhhh that Pat highlighter is almost getting me that pan embossing aka the least functional component of it is caaaaallling to me.

Been waiting for my PML quints for 3 weeks now… 🙄🙄 I hope they’re worth it.
The color Smokey Quartz reminds me of Mushroom from Urban Decay. That taupe smokey sooty grey color. I really wanted Smokey Quartz but now I’m like oh I think I have the dupe already. 😂
When I started this video, I just got out of the shower. I am now cleaning up after breakfast 😂🖤 I love it!!
PS I bought that perfume because of your description and I love it. It reminds me of a very expensive French perfume called Fracas
Haha that half-caked packaging then interior reveal shocked me so much 😂😂
Just what I needed!
I fricking love your makeup in this video
Love your eye look and your reviews! What eyeshadow did you use on your eyes today? I'm always looking for eye looks with a vibrant lippie. Thank you! :)
If you have the ABH Nouveau palette, would you mind comparing or swatching it against that Half Baked palette?
I want ALL of the dupe videos! Those are my faves
Hey Lauren just wanted to let you know that the Donna in the Born in Roma perfume name simply means woman as in this is the woman's version. Donna means woman and is pronounced donah more like donor. There's a mens version as well which says uomo which just means man.
LOVE the red lip! Thx for another great video!😻
Is there glitter fallout during the day from the pat mcgrath? Like I love the super shocks but within an hour, I have glitter halfway down my face.
I love hearing all your thoughts so don't feel pressure to be brief! Haha
I’ve tried several kinds of brushes and can’t seem to pick up the CP bronzer either.
The cp brow pencils are excellent. There are two versions of their pencils, one is a little thicker (the one you have/showed) & one that's super skinny. i'm curious if the CT smokey quartz is similar to the KVD eyeshadow stick (the amethyst color)
Tower 28 Bronzini Best Coast has made a perfect Autumn blush for me, draped up to my temples 🍁
Love these videos, Lauren 💜 Thanks for your content!
Lauren, we need a video with all the Dose of colors liquid lipstick colors swatched! Please please and thank you :)
Please do another mink shadows video but for more mainstream brands
Omg Lauren Half Magic doesn't have the wet pebble single☹️ Sooooo looking forward to your video comparing similar Taupey shades🥰🥰🥰 My favorite shade to wear♥️♥️♥️
Love the red lip and the video ❤️
I don't know if I've heard you talk about Superdose...I know you love ISOE S. I've been debating a blind buy. What are your thoughts??
Ahh so sad you don't like the Dose Lipsticks because it looks so amazing on you and makes me want it anyway!
Ugh Lauren… you are just so freaking gorgeous 😍
Have you tried Mac's groundwork paint pot???
I love this look so much!
Thank you!! ❤️❤️
