8:24 This breed of chicken is what you see running feral on the island Kauai in Hawaii. The variations on the roosters cape, saddle and tail feathers are endless, but they are all stunning in their own way.
William is honest-more excited if he goes home with less than what has been taken! It would be hard to pick out which chickens to bring home, there are so many and such pretty colors.
So enjoyed seeing all the birds and bunnies, would be hard to leave and not take a few silkies or those grey dwarf bunnies home. Thank you for the share
We didn’t have a clue what we were doing and had great success with them. We had a neighbor that did bird hunts so we just raised them for sale. Bigger chicks to deal with than quail so I think they are easier. Plus they do a little dance when you walk up, lol. We raised Red Golden Pheasants at the same time and they are an awesome bird, easy to hatch and sell well. That was back when we were in our 30s and now in our 70s.
Marie, I have been a subscriber since I saw you with the Eddy Family Farm. I just need to start commenting more. It cracked me up when you mentioned the Labyrinth, you were thinking of the Goblin King. I now have the song "You remind me of a babe). It will be there still in the morning. I raised my girls on that movie. I am afraid to admit the "Rocky Horror Picture Show". Please don't judge me, from what I have seen of you from your videos, I don't think you will. I will try to comment more. Maybe just leave a heart or some other some other little thing.
Oh trust me no judgment here lol. I just googled that to listen to it and it made me smile. Thank you for taking the time to say hi! PS. There is a black chicken in the Goblin King video lol
Omg Marie I couldn't go to one of those. I told myself I was stopping at my limit of 12 chickens ughh some how I have 16 hens 4 roos and 32 babies I just hatch ouch and I can't seem to want to get rid of any lol. 😂 I just bought a Splash Americana for myself there stunning and so big. You look like you had a fun day
@Random Okie Farms I wish I could send you a picture on here I just hatched 3 of her eggs out. And omgg you would die to see the colors there white with dots all over.
That's a good distance from home for you. I really enjoy watching y'alls videos. We live west of Elmore City and have a few sheep and we have a bunch of chickens. Still learning about chicken math. But I'm building more infrastructure. Keep up the great videos and thank you
Deathlayer hens will lay (approximately) an egg a day until she dies. This is phenomenal considering, in most chicken breeds, a good laying hen will lay eggs consistently for about 3 to 4 years. After that, she will lay fewer and fewer eggs each year until they stop laying completely.
Thanks for taking us with you!! I just love watching these auctions!! Beautiful Birds!! 🤗♥️🙏🏼

We raised Chukkars for a while back in the early 90s , they are a small game bird that taste awesome, a litter bigger than quail.

@Random Okie Farms I wish I could send you a picture on here I just hatched 3 of her eggs out. And omgg you would die to see the colors there white with dots all over.
Loved watching all the chickens! Here in Cape Coral Florida we are not allowed to have chickens or I would!!😃
That is so sad I couldn't imagine life without chickens
Do they let you keep ducks there?
Omggg so gorgeous ❤
Yes so true
I think the chickens in question are Appenzeller Spitzhauben.
They remind me of those but there skin and eyes are coal black. I have never seen anything like it
Not sure what they are. They are cool looking.
That beautiful rooster crowed and I wasn’t able to hear you give the full name. It was a Lemon (something). Could you tell me, please. Thanks!
😊💜💜💜
He was a Lemon Orphington
The Indio Gigante can grow up to 3 feet tall. White House on the Hill has a lot of them.
That is so cool!
You haven’t said what you are interested in bidding on. What might you be interested in?? Love ❤️
Thank you
You're welcome
Marie do people eat Guinnys, or just tick & bug eaters & yard alarms? Enjoying the sale now! 🥰
I’m sure you could but for the most part I think it’s just pest control
Back years ago my family ate guennies

I love to eat the dark meat of chickens. Would the dark breast of the Bresse chickens taste like the dark meat of thighs ? If so, I would love it
They are supposed to be in there own league of taste. I haven’t tried one yet but I sure am curious on how they will taste
@@RandomOkieFarms , let us know when you try it.
