I need therapy. I loved the guard back before franchising, but for some reason I hate G2. Like even if they win champs, I still won't like them. something just feels off to me and I can't figure out what.
probably because g2 doesn’t click like the guard did and i can agree on that. stand guard was fun times. but can you really blame them? the guard fucked them over so much
I think their games against 100t and lev back in The playoffs of the last americas split ruined it for me. They played so bad and 100t literally farmed them, but now that they’re doing well it feels weird going back to what we’ve seen in those playoffs.

I agree but after watching the C9 game I feel like Sen don't even need to be on their A game to win verses G2 because of the fact that Sen seem to have one of the most diverse map pools right now. With split not being gone yet you'll have to play one of their best maps which might guarantee at least a map 3

I feel like people are far too hard on NRG at this moment. I'm not saying they're incredible but I think you can easily argue them being better than LOUD and 100T. NRG on this new roster has only played the 2 best teams in the region. I think we need to give them one more game before we put them all the way down there to show us what they can do against KRU.

Arguably to be the top 3 of their region, got beaten by the bottom 2 team and struggle to attain their previous form
I don't know what NRG was thinking with their roster.. you cannot expect to consistently win with 4 "pretty good" flex players and a non-fragging IGL like FNS. I like FNS, but the team lacks so much fragging potential which was made painfully obvious these past 2 matches where if it came down to aim duels rather than playing the map they were just getting absolutely farmed. In today's game you NEED to have at least one mechanically gifted aimer (Demon1, aspas, OXY, zekken) if you want to see any results.
100t fans don't worry if LEV G2 AND SEN make top 3 we are guaranteed on the champion points, but if eg take a spot in the top 3, we are real cooked
tbh as a SEN fan i think its not outragous to put G2 at the top they look clean. That said SEN will smoke them. F*** G2 jk
G2 is easily one of the most disciplined, coordinated NA teams. They make it very uncomfortable to be checked against. That being said, SEN is in good form to challenge G2.

Unironically I don't think it's very fair to put 100T that far down. I think they're in a current slump yea, but I think overall if this was going into Champs 100T would be in that same tier as EG and LEV imo. Inconsistent but good on average
This is a power rankings of how the teams are playing right now. How would you even make an argument for them being in the same tier as a team like lev when they just got completely dismantled by them. They are playing so scared of everything like 100t last year
definitely. they played a furia that looked significantly better than they ever have after furia had like a month to prepare for 100t and the new meta and nothing to lose. meanwhile 100t was busy getting top 4 at an international, and likely didn’t prepare for furia specifically much because they were so bad and it was a completely new meta. they also still managed to barely lose 2 overtime maps. lev is also the same team that was ranked #1 in the league by most people not too long ago. they had a bad performance in shanghai and a subpar performance in stage 1 playoffs but they absolutely dominated the regular stage 1. 100t also took a while to settle in stage 1, I expect the same thing in stage 2.
EG and 100T play 100 series right now and EG wins all 100 they are NOT in the same tier

@@sopvp7719 considering prep time, burnout from making a deep Shanghai run, and overall footage being a lot (similar things happened to SEN/GG post-Madrid and FNC post-Tokyo) I think it's kinda impressive to hold a relatively close match against LEV. They almost won Bind tbh. Definitely was the best LEV has ever looked as well, maybe a top 5 team itw if they can be consistent.

Sen have the harder group this split. They have to play 2 of the top 3 teams from last split and the best performing team from America's at Shanghai
If they come out of this split undefeated, then it was not a fasad
You could already argue they've showed enough to show that they are back
I do think G2 have shown more but winning vs. A C9 team that also just got demolished by Sen and an NRG that is just dragging themselves to the finish line isn't that impressive especially since C9 took a map off of G2 and Sen showed that they don't even have to be good on attack to win that game because most of their wins came from defense
SEN are still one of if not the best. So.. they obviously deserve to think they are the best they legit are the best Americas representative all this year

It's crazy how loud, 100t and NRG are all better than every Chinese team. China does not deserve their spots at international lans they are like 1 win and 6 losses against na and pacific so far this year it's crazy, they only beat other Chinese teams and EMEA, not that EMEA has any success outside of heretics because they also have like 1 win against the 2 major regions
