I understand the purpose of this video is to demonstrate is 'decision making skills' and 'learning discrimination' in real-time, therefore I'm just sharing the best solid food introduction is letting him eat the food himself... but I'm sure you know this. Letting him actually guide the food to his mouth and take the bite. As I said, his chewing skills are remarkable. Also for others watching, having a solid food rest for his feet helps stability and safety. Love you are using your baby's natural "flavor window" to explore his palate. Babies between 6-34 months will try almost anything... given the opportunity - even if they turn away initially (it may take up to 15 exposures). Good job mama! Beautiful baby. IMO Introducing different foods is important. I was not a chicken nugget mom. I prepared real meals even though it was just two of us eating. Dad worked B shift. Son's first solid food was stuffed eggplant which he gobbled up. Watching a child's face while experiencing new foods is an eye opening experience.
Baby communication. We do not understand what you're saying but we know what they want. What a smart baby. Enjoy because this age does not last very long.
