Raccoon With Jar Stuck on Head Gets Rescued

Rescuing raccoons with jars on their head isn't the typical call Long Island Cat Kitten Solution receives, but they still saved the day. The organization assisted when a cute, but feisty kit needed freeing. After oil and some patience, the raccoon was loose. They recently had a similar rescue with a cat, who also got caught with a jar on its head for several days. Inside Edition Digital has more.

Clean jars properly and place lids back on prior to disposing of so this doesn’t happen. Also helps a little to prevent attracting animals, especially bears.
