Trump sued Michael Cohen for 500M, that should be a starting point for E. Jean Carroll, as Trump thought that was a fair amount. What goes around, comes around.

I'm a trial attorney who regularly practices in state and federal courts. Elina Habba's incompetence is absolutely shameful, mind-numbing; and an absolute embarrassment to the profession. She acts as though she's never been inside a courtroom, much less having tried a case. If this is what Widner University (where she attended law school) is sending into the legal community, they should permanently close their law school.

The usual remedy is to sue the lawyer for malpractice to recoup the judgement against you

Notice how some of the users who posted "top comments" on videos have generic names (sometimes nonsensical, usually just a regular name) in lowercase, followed by 4 numbers or a string of random alpha-numeric characters?
The first post is usually a factual post, something that may generate a few likes on its own, but will have a crapload of likes within minutes;
They're usually followed by comments in support of the Original Comment (OC from here on out), maybe a string of them, before not-too-long, a reply is posted against the first comment by users with a somewhat similar name structure almost immediately, with it's own batch of likes.
The accounts are recently created (2015+), have no videos posted, incomplete profiles, yet, they have a small number of subscribers.
And they usually post on news outlets, like MSNBC, CNN, etc., however, I've seen them comment on other genre videos in similar fashion.
(Fox News has a similar approach, but in reverse. They'll first post a fabrication or provably-wrong claim, and wait for replys. That's the bait and the first reply is the fish. They then comment hysteria en mass; Rinse, Lather, Repeat.)
It's no coincidence. The original post, and the few replys afterwards follow everything I've stated above. After this is posted, there will be replies either doubting me or calling me crazy (especially those who fall within the guidelines listed above). They will attempt to gaslight me, and misdirect, deflect, and insult this comment. I can only assume:
A) It's an attempt to generate traffic, or
B) Paid shills, hired to cause dissention and confusion.
I'm ignoring anyone with the name structure described above. Go see for yourself; Click top comments, Check the profiles. Look at other video's comments. There's a pattern, and they only real conclusion I can come up with is Any account after 2015 isn't real. If anyone has a rational explanation, I'd love to hear it.
(Before anyone says anything, I decided my username before YT was even an idea, literally google it; and I have content here, not visible because I was sharing personal videos with friends, they were not meant for public viewing, as they contain dox'able material. Habba's statement (about not knowing how to try this case) is probably meant more for Trump than it was the judge.

It was determined as such in a jury trial that Trump never bothered to show up to.
He said he was going to be there on several occasions, but each time he chickened out.
Let me repeat that for you - Trump had every right to show up to trial, and to defend his case before the jury, but he chose not to do so. That was his call.
@@victors8465 If I remember this correctly, Trump wasn't allow to talk about the case. To say he could have attended the trial is irrelevant no only to the overall absurdity of the case and if this was actually defamation or not. Being found guilty doesn't equal actually being guilty.

Trump has certainly been claiming that his former lawyer didn't want him taking the stand.
But at the end of the day Trump is the client and Trump gets to decide whether or not he will accept the advice of his lawyers.
There was even footage of Trump in Scotland telling reporters that he was flying back to America so that he could take the stand and confront his accuser in court . . . which he never did.
Trump loves to act like the tough guy to his followers and pretend that he's the big guy that everyone should be afraid of.
But when it comes to appearing in court he really does everything he can to avoid it. The guy just doesn't seem interested in taking the stand and proving his innocence.

Since this is a civil lawsuit, Trump can't be sent to prison. I hope in one of the criminal cases, the judge announces, "I sentence you to ten years in prison. Which is a normal thing when you break the law in the way you did."
